For anyone who is not sure what’s going on.
Mwezi, the exchange officer who has been on the Chernov for a while from his planet, Galdor, lost his fiance, Kula, a few weeks ago to an accident on an experimental transporter.
While discussing an idea to save Kula and in doing so hopefully strengthen the political bond between the Federation and the Galdori-Okinos Alliance, Mwezi became suddenly ill. Diagnosing this as being something that they couldn’t deal with on their own, CMO Kane advised that they rush to Galdor to hit two birds with one stone.
After some discussion aboard the Docking and Diplomacy orbital platform, the Chernov’s landing crew was split into two teams. The XO was sent with the medics and security to talk to the researchers on the planetary surface. They have landed.
The second group, mostly scientists and engineers, was sent to the research platform where the accident occurred. Some stuff happened, sucking Kane into another universe, and Taggart got angry and offended the Galdori political leader and his beliefs.
That’s where we are headed. Mwezi is deathly ill and in need of a quick resolution to his problem, T’aria and her crew are getting along well with their shuttle pilot, and Taggart is grieving the loss of a friend.
