Chris was a little fed up finding out a little information about his Engineering crew. Sitting down at his desk in the Ready Room he pressed the com. [O]Captain to the Chief Engineer and to any and all available Engineers, (this means everyone), Report to my Ready Room at once.[O] His voice was professional but it had a tinge of anger to it.Captain Chris Taggart CO
T’Aria peered over her PaDD, ignoring an unremarkable auxiliary report, and arched a knowing eyebrow at Taggart. Though his irritation was not lost on her, she resolved not to mention it. T’Aria glanced at the comm panel and balanced the PaDD on the edge of his desk. “I am confident Atillos can manage the bridge for another hour,” she remarked, “would you like me to stay?”
Chris nodded. “Absolutely. I’ll need your wisdom and guidance as usual and Atillios is more than capable.” He smiled

He hoped it was not anything he had done as he moved to the lift and headed to his ready room. a few minutes later he arrived at the room that was posted to be the ready room as he tapped the bell chime. As he waited calmly for the captain to answer.

Upon hearing the chime Chris yelled “Come in.” So that he could be heard. He wondered who would be the first to arrive. He had his thoughts on who and when Pawl came in, he was not surprised. He knew it would be a newer member of the crew. The ones fresh out of the Academy or the fresh transfers, were usually the first to come to meetings, like new department heads. They wanted to make that first impression and establish themselves.
Motioning to a chair by a table near a tank filled with liquid and what looked to be eaten pieces of a human leg and arm along with a very pristine hand, floating in the tank. There were cubes everywhere with intricate designs on them and one that appears to still be wrapped in butchers paper with a wax seal stamped in it. The others are in glass cases as well. There were pictures of human like beings dressed in all black with pale faces and mutilated bodies. One was a bald female with her throat flayed open, one was a huge and grotesque obese person with no eyes in some and sunglasses in others, another had a big grin on his face and no eyes with his mouth chattering and the final one, the one that looked like their leader, had pins stuck about every inch of his whole head.
“Welcome Lieutenant Bartario.” He said calmly. “Please have a seat or look around. There are refreshments on the table so help yourself. You are not in trouble so be at peace. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.”

Pawl apparently arrived first but was startled by the items that were in the room as he tried to ignore looking at them. “thank you sir! I was hoping I did not do anything wrong.?” he calmly took a seat as he grabbed a drink of water and a few snacks on a plate. then relaxed as much as he could as he waited for the others to arrive. Pawl was going to ask more about the items in this room but he heard the chime as the others started to arrive and fell quiet trying not to look at such items.

T’Aria rose, skilfully eluding the grotesque artefacts adorning Taggart’s ready room, and nodded to Pawl.

Pawl nodded back to the xo (he may note that he was uncomfortable with the decor of the room.) “My apologies sir?! What are these things?” He finally spoke up. then fell quiet again.

“I’m sorry Pawl. My favorite Earth horror film is Hellraiser. These are the items from the movie and the villains. I’ve spent a lot of money acquiring these.” Then he pointed to the tank with body parts in it. “Except for those. Those are my actual body parts…or what’s left of them. I and my wife were attacked by a huge squid and it killed her and as you can see, almost killed me. The hand belongs to my best friend Kane. He died almost a year ago. I’m sorry if this disturbs you sir. As you can clearly see from my bearing, I’m not sadistic.” He smiled and winked. “Anything else?”

Pawl listened to the officer as he explained the things he had. “No Sir. I understand but still kinda shocking to see.” Pawl said with a small smile. “I will get used to them in time.” Pawl said kindly as he took a drink of his beverage. As they waited for what or who was left to arrive.

Blaze got the message and made his way to the ready room. His was done with everything he needed todo today so he was looking forward to get an early dinner and watch some movies in his room. But this comes first. He stepped out of the turbo lift and hit the door chime for the captains ready room.

He heard the chime and yelled out, “Come!” And then he noticed Blaze. “Ah Blaze. Take a seat over by Pawl. And help yourself to some refreshments. We’ll get started shortly as soon as your Chief arrives.”

“Well hello, Blaze.” Pawl paused a moment before he continued. “How is the programming coming alone?” Pawl asked the officer. But was not sure if he heard him or not. As he sipped on the beverage he had.
