As the Chief Engineer went back to Engineering after her appointment with the counselor. Se then was wondering what she could do in engineering she then asked one of her engineers “Lt. Status report.” She looked at him.CE Lovejoy.

“I am sorry sir! Status Here is all good at present Sir! All systems are green were doing minor recalibrations of the several relays on deck 6 other than that all will be working in a few minutes it simple maintenance.” Pawl said kindly to the officer. (I decided to answer after I saw no one else did.)Lt Jg PAwl BAtario - Jo Engineer
“It’s alright Lt. Alright. Minor recalibrations of what type system relays on deck 6? That’s unusual. What kind of issue is it having?” She asked. “Not to mention you’re a good officer. A few minutes for simple maintenance that’s good. Can you handle that or should I send you and one other to help you out?” She asked.

“The power relay taps they were causing the lights on the deck to start to strobe-like in so old style disco tech.” Pawl commented. as he added “The repairs are done now, sir!” Pawl said with a small smile. He heard the kind words and could not help but to smile sincerely at her. “thank you, sir!”

“Well that’s good. To be honest Lt. at some point I’m planning on making so dinner in my quarters at some point. Probably tonight. Was wondering maybe you’d like to come and have some dinner with me.” She offered to Lt. Batario. Although, it isn’t quite appropriate for her to ask her Junior Officer to come and have dinner with her. “If not Lt. it’s okay. I just thought of doing something nice and right for my newest junior officer to join their department head for dinner.”

“Thank you, sir! That’s very kind of you.” Pawl said kindly to her. “He could tell this was a platonic style of meeting and socialization. ” I appreciate the opportunity to get to know my fellow crew mates. Is this dinner a formal event or casual? ” Pawl asked her he did not want to be in the wrong outfit or uniform. “Is there anythingyou wish me to bring?? Like dessert or Drink perhaps??” Pawl said kindly as he smiled at her.
