As the calls came in from the bridge, the CMO pointed on the comms to avail.

“Ah, dammit!! Piece of space junk -” and his rapid string of loud but highly descriptive expletives rang out across the medical suite. Finally he said “Prep for incoming!” and then the yellow alert rang out. Another string of swearing was the precursor to Kane finally hitting the comms just right and they cackled to life.

[O] Medical to Bridge. Send ‘em, we’re ready. [O]

Kane, CMO

NE Vulk was brought in by a security escort, his head hanging in shame. NE Peters was laid out on a stretcher, the best efforts made to not let on that he was dead.

*Well… who is this? Christopher, do introduce me to your friends.”
Taggart sat up. “Kane. Doctor, I mean. What happened?”

-Fate

Kane looked at Taggart from the other side of the containment field. “Dunno. Shut up and let me work.” and he went to the stretcher. “Bed 3! And whats up with him?” Kane barked at the security detail.

Running a tricorder across Peters to figure out if there was any hope, Kane said “OK. What happened?”

Kane, CMO

(OOC: GM, I am sorry if I am stepping on your toes, but I want to bring this into the main bridge somehow. So, I will just respond from here).

IC: A few minutes later a voice came from the bridge through the intercom…

“Doctor, this is Commander Sideman…what do we know? ”

Lt. Commander Michael Sideman, XO

As the first officers voice came over the intercom, William Grey arrived into Sickbay. He tapped the comm panel [O]This is Grey, I’ve arrived in Sickbay, I’ll bring Doctor Kane up to speed and report back with the relevant information[C] He said moving to the side, he knew better than to break the sanctity of the Sickbay’s operating area “That there is Helmsman NE Peters, he walked up to NE Vulko over there who promptly handed him his sidearm. Peters then used said phaser to end his life, I gather the weapon was set to Kill” He explained rather calmly as if the incident didn’t bother him much “Vulko then simply retrieved his weapon and went on as if nothing happened. Our helm controls are locked and we need to figure out how and why this happened.” He finished his explanation then placed both hands behind his back and waited for the Doctors response.

“Very well, please get some answers…we are like sitting ducks out here” replied Sideman.

Lt. Commander Michael SIdeman, XO

Kane looked at the corpse, and shook his head. “Weapon was set to stain, but at point blank range and aimed right there it kill you. Syndicate assassins do that a lot to not make noise.” the tattooed medical officer replied nonchalantly. “Nothing to be done here.” and he motioned for the stretcher to be taken away.

Kane looked at Vulko. He motioned for security to get him on the biobed and walked over. “So why’d you give him the piece?” Kane activated the scanners, and started with a full scan before focusing on the man’s brain.

Kane, CMO

“I don’t know. I don’t even remember doing it.”

-Fate

OOC Just a note from a previous GM Post ” Peters pressed a button, turning the setting to kill. He raised the weapon and ended his life.”
Hjortur

Chris looked over at Vulko. “That’s not a good enough answer Ensign! Try again and try harder.”

Captain Chris Taggart CO

Kane whipped his head around and glared at Taggart. “One more word outta you, Taggert, and I’ll put you in a coma. Got it?” He slowly looked back at Vulko. “Whats the last thing you remember before Peters got your weapon, and the first thing you remember after that.” Kane watched the display as the scans monitored brain activity. If everything was normal, the hippocampus would stimulate as the memories were brought forth. But if the amygdala was involved, then that would be indicative of fear or suspicion, and that would be odd to say the least.

Kane, CMO

Vulk need a moment. “I remember… going to warp. Then Commander Sideman was yelling about something and Peters was on the floor.”

-Fate

William stood still as a statue as he watched Kane do his work, Vulk’s explanation was what he himself had heard about the events so there wasn’t anything to add as of yet.

CSO, 2O

OOC: GM, anything come of the scans?
