“Life can vary… most tends to be carbon based, but there are unique cases. Why do you ask these questions? What are you seeking?” Ean asked, he needed to know more to figure out where to go with this, he couldn’t help if he didn’t have answers.

Zol, Engineering

“We have gaps in the data banks,” replied the voice. “We need to fill up the data if we are to operated in optimal conditions.”

GM

Using their tricorders, the away team would have been able to locate the nodes where the data could be tapped.

“Over here” Ean said walking over to the nodes as he directed Katie and Laura over to where he was at. “It appears to be where they are storing the data. It’s… corrupted. I don’t know what to do though, suggestions? Is it right to give them full access to all… those memories?”

Zol, Engineering

“Suggestions? Because I passed my engineering class in my freshman year with a fabulous C+,” Kate said putting her hands on her hips and looked at the data storage. “Since I am known to oer pack why can we just take the whole kit and kaboodle with us back to the Odin and figure it out there?’

Lt. Kate O’Neill COS

The tricorder showed that the computer defences in the ship were very similar to the Borg ships before.

GM

=/\= Away team this is Captain Calin, what do you have for me=/\= Rivar said, wanting to get an up to date assessment from his team down below.

Calin, CO

=/\=Sir we are on route to get to the data core. There was some....difficulties with communications but we are mobile at this time. Do you have a lock on us, =/\= Kate asked in a concerned tone. Part of her was very on edge over here. Anyone with a lick of sense had this fear when dealing with the Borg. She had no doubt she could fight her way out but fighting her way out with everyone in the group was going to be infinitely more challenging. Kate knew they were not inept at fighting or bad but when the Borg was involved all rational thought went out the window at times especially when in a confined space like this. Kate had not seen a Borg yet but that did not mean they weren’t around or couldn’t just show up. That was what Borg was good at.

Lt. Kate O’Neill COS

Zol would be able to assess the node, but how secure the connection could be, it was still not apparent.

GM

But before Zol could assess the node, the team felt the familiar tingling and then they were soon back on the ship.

GM

OOC: Melissa, did you forget to post …?
