A distress call came in …The comms NE reported, “Sir, I am receiving a distress call approximately 130 billion kilometres away. A freighter is being attacked.”
The helm NE adds, “We can be there in less than five minutes at Warp 9, sir.”

James was at the Tactical station at this time he felt like he was ready. He was hoping his department head will let him handle tactical during this time.

“Set course helm, set us to yellow alert.” Rivar said, readying the ship as they took off. He knew the command staff would come that were not already on the bridge once the alert went out. “Do we have any information on the attackers?”

Not again, how many yellow alerts does that make it for this month? Jenkins thought as she finally made it to the bridge. “What have I missed?” she said.
