Understanding that the medical bay was busy this day, Lt. Kirshara said, “Computer active the EMH, please.”
A minute later a figure appeared…
“Please state the nature of the emergency” came the reply from the EMH.
The Vulcan said very logically, “Doctor, I am having mating issues. This is not the right time for me.....can you help?”

Adeline’s face flushed a light pink again as she offered, “I can help you. I’m a doctor.” She scolded herself mentally as soon as the words came out of her mouth… that was not the most convincing start to her new role. After a moment, she dragged herself out of her scolding and collected a tricorder from a nearby station. She opened it and ran it carefully over the young Vulcan in front of her.

Adeline’s face flushed an even brighter pink as she tried to nod understandingly to the young Vulcan.
“Let’s take a look at your vital signs,” she stammered and indicated a nearby biobed away from the smoke, holding up the tricorder in her hand. “There are a few options that I can present to you once we see what physiological effect you’re feeling.” As the medical words came out of her mouth, she grew slightly more confident and awaited the displayed information.

Just them the EMH looked over at the Ensign and said.....”Excuse me…but I was actived for this patient....can I help you?”
