A day like another: although it was the second week for Ari, he already settled in the labs, seemingly making them his home. He knew everybody and everything about the crew and the work place he worked in. Mrs. Kyle was a shy but valuable lab assistant, Ensign Jeremy instead was something, but not the best of his crew. He knew what weaknesses and strong point they had.
But even with the work he had, fun was the thing he wanted to experience even in the serious environment of Starfleet.

Indeed, passing from storage to storage, Ari was now taking every piece of equipment that could help him crafting some new tech at disposition for the crew of the security - his idea was pretty simple: craft a not-so-obvious device that could protect the security staff. Like his phaser-pen alike! Or some portable energy shield. He even thought about creating a goo-cannon with the goo that a certain Kai, of the Atlantis, proposed to give him if he wanted - to be honest, he didn’t knew what was that goo and why the Ensign was so excited to talk about it. But meh, why not trying it?

Engineering was advised, and the Security Chief too. Now, while working on the hardware, he had just to wait that the people he needed for this project showed up.

Ean had been grumbling as he showed up, he had drawn the short stick in showing up. The CE insisted he take more duties as assistant Chief and this seemed a perfect chance to test that out. Entering he began looking around, he wasn’t really sure what he was walking into as he saw a few bodies and the CSO moving about. “You must be Lieutenant Salemberger?” Ean asked as he walked up to the man as his dark Betazed eyes looked him up and down.

“Ja, Ich bin Leutnant Salemberger. Wie heißt?” He said in german laughing and being a bit the usual unprofessional Ari “I’m sorry, yes, I’m Mr. Salemberger. You are?” He asked smiling, shaking his hand and leaving the still in-construction device on the worktable.
