Having decided that the Asimov wasn’t the right ship for her, Nerira had decided to request a transfer and had been assigned to the USS Odin. Leaving the Asimovon her racing ship the Razorwing, Nerira had spent the last sixteen hours at high warp and now the Odin was on her sensors. She was ready for a shower, some rest and some food.
Dropping out of warp she opened a channel, “lieutenant Akanar to Odin, requesting permission to dock”
Waiting for a response from the other side, she began the drive shutdown procedure.

-Lt Akanar CSO

“Lt Akanar, welcome to the Odin,” came the voice of an Operations Officer through the comm system. “You are cleared to dock, we have been expecting you. Nice ship by the way. Once docked and secured, and you have stowed your kit in your quarters, the Executive Officer is available in his Office.”

“Thanks, she is quite the ship. See you aboard soon, Akanar out”
The soft whirring of the drive dropped in pitch until it was silent until all she could hear was the white noise of the thrusters guiding her in on the auto dock procedure.
She breathed a sigh of relief as soon as she felt the jolt that meant she had touched down. She had always been intimidated by traveling in the Razorwing for long amounts of time because it wasn’t equipped with weapons.

leaving the shuttle bay, Nerira located a ship directory and located her quarters where she dropped off her belongings before heading to the XO’s office. Ringing the chime she waited for an invitation to enter. It was too late when she realized she had forgotten to change out of her flight suit and into uniform, she hoped the commander wouldn’t mind too much.

-Lt. Akanar CSO

“Who is it,” a voice called out from behind the door. Aside from the tone sounding extremely young, the greeting was far from normal. Generally, officers were greeted with the customary responses of come or enter when they rang the chimes of an office. This response sounded more like the individual behind the door of a residence instead of an office.
