“Girl you are getting on my last nerve,” Rayvonne Washington snapped at the blonde talking to her. The woman’s back was to the door so she completely missed the person coming in.”

“Raaaaayyyyy,” Kate said in half a whine. “You have no idea what it is like living with that man. I mean he is relentless. So give me the damn coffee and I will give you anything you want. Anything. I am the freaking night watchman of this floating tin can. I have the codes for anything. Name your price.”

Having finally gotten a good night sleep after checking in with the XO Nerira found her way to sickbay for her medical evaluation. She didn’t like medical evaluations because people liked to ask uncomfortable questions or questions she couldn’t answer due the lack of medical history from her earlier years.
greeting the nurse on duty she said, “I’m here for my medical evaluation.”

-Lt. Akanar

Instead of a reply, the science chief got the palm up facing her.

“And I give it to you and then Dr. McEasy on the eyes puts me on nights? Girl you are crazy. No,” she said firmly. “Why you got to be so ‘noying.”

“Because in the past four hours all I have gotten is to lick the ring from his cup and that is not enough…it’s not,” Kate said in a highly dramatic tone.

“An you don’t think this is a problem,” she leaned back dropping her palm from the person who entered sickbay before crossing her arms and giving Kate a completely judgemental look.

“Ugh,” Kate slapped her hands on the counter making a thud that echoed. Looking up she saw Akanar. “That was a judgmental look. Wasn’t that a judgemental look.” Right now Kate did not care if the person wanted or not wanted to be involved in the conversation. She was present so she was now hip deep in this as her grandpa used to say.

Kate O’Neill and Nurse Rayvonne Washington

“Huh?” Nerira said, bewildered. “Maybe I should come back?” she continued, gesturing to the door

-Lt. Akanar, CSO (confused)

“Not necessary, Lieutenant.” came a voice from behind. A tall and very handsome human man walked toward the group and he shook his blonde-haired covered head. “Nurse Washington. kudos on not letting O’Neill give you the run around. Kate, no coffee. Get. Now.” and he pointed at the door. “And no back talk, or I set your replicator permissions for decaf only, got it?”

Able looked at the CSO. “Sorry about that. Dr. Abel. Chief Medical Officer. How can I help?” and he gently ushered her towards the far side of the med bay.

Abel, CMO
