“Now that is down right rude!” the woman said indignantly. ‘I am probably just a few years older than you. Remind you of your mother! I have a mind to leave you here … Then she paused, as if thinking about something, “If I help you out, could you help me move a few things?”

“Ahahah…” Chase giggled nervously “Sorry, it is just… your face.” He looked over the girl background blushing of embarrassment “So let me think… what kind of things? I mean I would certainly love to help ya but uhm… not stuck here.” He asked and said with a smiling face, still a bit suffering for the intense odor.

“I need to move some equipment from the field to the barn. We have finished our harvest and we need to start maintaining the equipment for the next planting season. If you are helpful, I will help you out of there and even let you have a good bath,” she quipped.

“Ah darn it! Okey, just get me out of this smelly bath.” As he leaned his hand to the girl, he waited her to grab it and pull him out. ‘I should really trust her?’ Chase wondered in his head.

The woman chuckled as she grasped Chase’s hand with her left hand and the right arm round a nearby tree. “Relax,” she said calmly, “I don’t wanna get pulled in by you.” She anchored one foot steadily on the ground as she started pulling Chase out …

As Chase walked away the lurid and putrid bath, he finally sighed of relief “Thanks!” He smiled looking horrified his pants dirty pants “I guess these will be needing to be thrown away. Ugh… right, again thanks. So where’s this farm?” He asked impatiently for the bath.

“No, no, no,” said the woman. “As good looking as you are, I am not having you move equipment without your clothes. Follow me and let’s get the work done before I give you that bath …”

Chase nodded, and silently followed the girl. To be honest? He was nervous at the idea of following a stranger. But the bath proposed and the new clothes were a good way to convince someone to follow even the strangest person in the world… well maybe not everyone, but why have fear of a young woman?
“So… is this place, far?” He shyly asked.

“No,” replied the woman. “Call me Billie.”

“Billie?” He started walking behind the woman “A strange name for a woman, but I like it.” The NE smiled. The stink of the manure was like a pebble in the boot, so bothering and so acute. Chase didn’t really looked at the young woman, but as he looked from behind her shape and beautiful being, he felt like falling in love… slowly, but right in the depth of his heart. How do they called it? Right, love at first sight!

Shaking his head, the NE resetted his mind and tried not to think about “Billie”. He had a mission and he was determined to accomplish such task.

They moved along a small winding path for about 500 metres before coming to a grove of trees. Walking through the trees, Chase saw a single storey cottage next to a larger building with could only be a barn. As they walked to the other side of the barn, he saw two large fields. One was filled with wheat plants and to the left a field with rows of different vegetables. In between the fields. he saw a tractor.

“There,” said Billie, “Help me move that tractor back to the barn and I’ll give you a bath.”

GM

“Seems easy peasy…” the officer held his tricorder in hand “Right, let’s get this bath.” Walking toward the tractor he looked at the machinery: it seemed old, maybe rudimental. It was a while since Chase really recalled a tractor being used in a field. Being born in a farm he knew how to use such vehicle Pff… it maybe as simple as that to get that shower! and rolling his sleeves he boarded the tractor and tried to find the ignition button.
