Morganna spoke up “Captain, I’m sensing that there may be some hostility against some of our officers.” She said as she ignored the amorous situation and another Star Fleet officer seems to be overly zealous and seems to be suspicious of the people on the planet.” She said as she tried to get more information about the hostility that was going on.

“Commander Solark, lets make contact with our crew… see if the Counselors hunch is paying off.” Calin said as he nodded at Solark. He needed to know more and he wanted to be certain everything was okay.

Morganna continued searching for the situation and information, she was not able to get beyond the sense of hostility that she was picking up on. She hoped that it was just that, a sense of hostility and not actually someone acting against their crew.

CNS

“Yes Captain,” said the Vulcan officer. He raised the first group where the COS was.

Solark

Ka’Lissi continued to try and pinpoint signals and look for others who may be transmitting, or blocking, either on the planet or around them in space.

Morganna kept her mind open to what was going on with their crew and hoping that they remained safe.

OOC: Going to use what Kate posted and repeat the (edited) call here.

IC:

The COS replied first and Morganna could detect caution on both the Starfleet officer as well s the person she was talking to.

=/\=Yeah not much here Sir. I um…well....I am not so good with the tech and what I thought was Fed equipment was just some old flashlight parts. … Check back in an hour sir. O’Neill out,=/\= she clicked off on the comm badge.

Solark was intrigued by the COS’s curt message. He had not encountered her to be so curt before. He turned to the CO, “Would that be what humans call something’s going down?”

Solark

Morganna looked at Solark “I am going to say yes.” She said “The security chief is using extreme caution in speaking with us and those that she is with.” Morganna looked at Rivar “Something is not right. Can we get some sort of eyes on the situation.”

CNS

“It is possible,” replied Solark. “However, our increase in the sensors might alert anyone who is monitoring our activities.”

Solark

Lissi turned around to face the others. “So let’s not hide it. They have to suspect we know we were scanned. Perhaps they are counting on us not being able to find exactly from where. So let’s broad sweep ‘scan back’ and carry the ‘lookie’ signal over it.” She shrugged. “Couldn’t hurt. And we could get a second look as well as ‘check all over’ for whatever else we may stumble upon.”

She had never tried to carry both signals at once, wasn’t even sure it was possible or would work. But wasn’t that what all the tech was for? Seeing what it could do would also help in the future.

“I like it, lets do that… maybe see who jumps out. Keep us open and lets find out what scurries out… and pray we can handle it.” Rivar ordered the team as he was curious what this would lead them to next.

Lissi nodded and murmured, “Ok, Ody… talk to me and make this work…” She started to type out the sequence that would send a brought sweep over the area as well as across the nearby surface. The idea being to find out who might be lingering ‘behind’ them, so to speak, but also that would cover the lower area and make sure no one was sneaking up, or powering up, around their crew. She then added a more concentrated signal ‘just’ to the surface to see if they could see anything.

“All right… here it goes,” she said and set the sequence to run. Her mind and lips whispering prayers that they would see if something was amiss, while at the same time hoping nothing was.

Morganna just watched and listened. She tried to keep her mind open and keep track of what was going on with others that were not on the ship. This was a rather interesting situation.
