Royce and Beaujalay moved through the corridors quickly, each carrying a med kit. “I’m not sure what’s happened,” Bennie said. “But we are to examine Lt Primmage as soon as she lands.

“Did the bridge give you any clues as to what we are looking for?” Royce smiled. Honestly, Clint could read a prescription label with that accent of his and it would sound like love poetry. There was something about Frenchmen.

“No.” She shook her head as they boarded the lift. “When we get to the hangar, one of the flight crew can fill us in. I’m sure they’ve been monitoring the Lt and have been listening in to the chatter between the bridge, CAG and any other fighters we have out there.”

“Sounds good.” he replied.

A moment later, the two doctors arrived at the hangar bay and took up a safe position to wait for the landing.

Xandra stepped from the fighter feeling rather foolish. She probably could have made the landing on her own. But with Ric telling them to get medical on standby, she thought it the better part of smart to allow them to ‘tow’ her in. As she exited the ship, mechanics and crewmen scurried over it likes ants on a piece of bread. Each one with a duty to find out what she had done to their precious piece of machinery.

As she glanced around, the sight of medical uniforms caught her eye. An NE at her shoulder tapped her arm. Seeing the face of the young woman, the pilot smiled. “CAG said you were to see medical immediately,” the woman said and made it silently clear that if Xandra needed help, she was there to do so without overly embarrassing the Lieutenant.

“Thank you,” Xandra said and nodded. “I’ll go. I’ll leave you to your duty, Ensign.” She gave one final nod and took a deep breath before smiling brightly and heading for the medical personnel.

Once before them, she held a hand up indicating the corridor behind them. “I think we can find a better place to examine me than here in the Bay,” she smiled as if nothing was amiss, despite the headache pounding full force in her head now. If the Doc was paying attention, the edge of here face was tightening ever so slightly as the headache grew to press on her skull. There was an almost imperceptible twitch on the edge of her left eye. “Shall we?”

The pilot didn’t wait for an answer but stepped around them and moved to the door.

Green Squad Leader

Bennie had watched as Primage climbed from her fighter and walked over to them. To an untrained eye, she might have looked unshaken by the experience she’d just been through, but the doctor could see a certain tightness that trying to settle over the woman’s face that the pilot consciously fought to appear relaxed.

She fell into step next to Xandra. “Well, since we were requested to meet you here, we did. Its fine if you want to move the exam to sickbay, there are more tests I can do there anyway.”

Clint took a place on the other side of the pilot and the three of them left the hangar bay.

OOC: Are we taking this somewhere? Or are we going to pretend she was checked out?
