OOC:

Let me start by saying I am sorry for posting 3 ½ days later then I said I was going too. Last weekend I had tons of homework (I am in graduate school) and my wife was sick with a kidney stone. Thus, I was tied up with real life. That said, I did stay in contact with the CAG during this time.

IC:

Lt. (j.g.) Robert Banner stepped onto the ship for the first time. Expect for his flight training final test, he had been at Star-Fleet Academy and flight training his entire career. Getting into space was Banner’s dream but it was not the way he thought it would be. When Banner first started Star-Fleet flight training he wanted to be a shuttle pilot or a helm officer. It was not until he sat in a Star-fighter did he finally decide this was the way to go for him. After all, a shuttle pilot or helm officer could be stationed close to earth, but a star-fighter pilot had to be on a carrier and in space. Banner was not sure that was for him, but he did not let that stop him as he reached for the stars.
After asking the computer for directions, Banner found himself standing at the door of the CAG. The only question in Banner’s mind was: would the CAG be in his office? After all, the ship was in port and he assumed that port was something this crew did not see much of. Well, there was only one way to find out….Banner rang the CAG’s door chim and waited.

Robert Banner

From inside, Banner would hear a simple “Come in,” from who was mostly the Olinski’s CAG, Cmdr. Richard O’Shea, known around the flight deck as Ricochet.

The door swished open to see the commander leaning back in his chair behind the desk, staring intently at the pilot’s duty roster along the wall. After a long, silent moment, Ric tossed the stylus and PAdd onto his desk and turned to face the man that had entered. He looked at the collar pips and and wings pinned to his chest deduced that this was the new pilot he had requested.

Ric reached across the desk and offered the man his hand. “Banner, right? Welcome aboard the Olinski, Lt. Have a seat.”

Ricochet (CAG)

Reaching across the table, Banner shook the hand of the CAG and sat down. Not knowing whatelse to say he commented, “I figured you might be on the Starbase enjoying some time off. I am suprised to see you here.”

Banner

“I’ve got a handful of new pilots coming aboard, you being one one of them. I’ve got to rearrange some schedules to get the new boots ready for patrol.”

Give the board one more look, then turning back to Banner, Ric leaned back in his chair and clasped his hands behind his head. “Haven’t had a chance to read your file yet, Lt. Tell me a little bit about yourself.”

Ricochet (CAG)

“There is not a lot to tell sir. I am entered Star Fleet Academy and decided to fly planes. My family would rather me be in the Earth Naval Force but here I sit.”
