SNIP“Lets scan around the planet. Look at the system. Maybe there are hints out here what is under there.” He said indicating the planet.

As the sensor output was produced, there did not seem to be anyway of piercing the crust of the planet to see what was under it. All the sensors would show was a normal planetary crust, even though the away team had discovered an underground passageway with wires and conduits. There would be something that was creating the ‘smokescreen’ for the sensors, but Nineve could not see it. However, at the south pole of the planet, under a kilometre or so of ice, a space ship was detected.

OOC: The Captain does not have the sensor data in front of him. That’s the ST way. So please update him on that. Thanks.

“Aye Captain. Holding position.” Mirri said as she reestablished orbit. She had the feeling that there was much more going on here and she felt slightly helpless just sitting in the pilot’s seat. She turned her attention to scanning the surrounding space to make sure that no one was sneaking up on them.

Ensign Patricia Jones, a young coffee colored woman in a blue science uniform, frowned at the sensor readings before speaking. “Sir, I don’t understand,” she said as she ran a diagnostic over the sensors to check them for bugs. “The sensors are just showing a normal crust for a geologic planet. There’s no sign of the underground tunnels the away team are reporting. I’ve run a diagnostic to… Wait! I’m picking up something at the southern pole of this planet, something a kilometer under the ice… Captain I think it’s a spaceship!”
OOC: Nineve Lumiere’s player is on a LOA. I’m late posting. So I decided to make up an ensign to man the science station.

OOC: First thanks for filling in. Second why did you mention Zoe Saldana. Now all I can think of is that she looks exactly like Zoe Saldana.
IC:The Captain said nothing at first.

Parker asked Harn. Now the only question was the Olinski going to check that out or the undermanned Dragoon.

OOC: Its possible that Jones might have a passing resemblance to Zoe Saldana…

The Captain analyzed his own question. It was probably more important for Harn to continue the rescue attempt of the Dragoon crew and the Olinski go and investigate. However at the same time it would put both ships within the weapon range of the planet.

With the new information, Mirri charted a course to the southern pole if needed. She waited for the orders from Parker before she began moving the large ship.
Helm
=^=Dragoon to Olinski. We can confirm the presence of a ship under the southern pole of the planet. I repeat, we confirm the presence of a ship under the south pole.=^= Jason’s voice verified.
