The turbolift doors hissed open and the Michael brought the Dragoon’s senior officers onto the bridge. He looked around and then tapped his combadge. =/\=Commander, we’re here.=/\=

-Lt Michael Gould, CE

Jason exited the ready room and returned to the bridge while assuming a façade of nonchalance. “Thank you Gould. You may relieve Toro at the conn.” He then turned his attention to the group that Michael had brought in. “Hello there. I’m Commander Jason Harn, first officer of the USS Brain A. Olinski. You’ve already met Mister Gould, our chief engineer. This is Lieutenant Maritza Turcio at tactical, Ensign Tenchi Koizumi at comms, Ensign Shannon Duffy at the helm and Ensign Suvok of Vulcan manning ops. Welcome back aboard the Dragoon. You must have quite a story to tell. If you come with me to the ready room you can give me the short version,” he said as he gestured back to the door from which he came. “But first, why don’t you introduce yourselves? To whom am I addressing?”

Jason Harn, XO

=^= Parker to Harn. What’s the status on the Dragoon. Can you and Gould leave it and beam into that ship we have detected? Our info says its a relatively safe beam over but were not sure what’s there.=^=

“‘Scuse me,” Jason said as he walked over to the command chair and pressed a button on the arm. =^= Harn to Parker, we are currently in the process of beaming up the Dragoon’s crew. Mister Gould has brought the senior officers we’ve rescued so far to the bridge. I was about to debrief them. As for whether or not Gould and I can beam down, just let me check. Won’t be a moment, Captain.=^=

He took his finger off the button and looked up at the group of officers standing before him. “Are any of you the captain or first officer?” he asked.

Jason Harn, XO, checking to see to if he is free to beam down

Toro nodded “Commander, if you need to remain here I can take Gould with me and go and check out the ship.”

CIO

Jason winced as she offered. He was really looking forward to beam down to the alien ship. He stood up perfectly straight and took a breath before acknowledging the offer. “Thank you Toro,” he sighed before turning his attention back to the assembled officers by the turbolift. “Now then, is the captain or first officer available? Who’s the senior officer among you?”

“The captain was injured in the skirmish. I believe he was escorted to sickbay. I believe the first officer was a casualty. I am Lieutenant Commander Adam Reynolds, second officer and in security,” a rather youngish athletic man stood forward.

GM

Jason frowned. “Understood Mister Reynolds,” he nodded before pressing the button the captain’s armrest again. =^=Harn to Olinski. Captain the CO and XO of the Dragoon are currently unavailable. Lieutenant Turcio has volunteered to beam down in my place. As much as I want to go, I should probably remain here and secure the Dragoon.=^=

Jason Harn, XO, who was really looking forward to beaming down to the mysterious spaceship

=^=Make it so=^=

Parker CO

=^=Aye-Aye sir. Dragoon out.=^= Jason acknowledged as he sat in the commanding officer’s chair. “Reynolds, relieve Lieutenant Turcio at tactical. Toro, Gould, grab your gear and report to the transporter room. You’re beaming down. Stay in communication and take a breath mask with you in case the atmosphere’s gone bad.

Toro nodded as she turned over the station to Reynolds. And left the bridge, stopping long enough to grab a phase rifle, med kit and a respirator.

Moments later a communication came in from the planet.

=^= COS to Dragoon. The away team is under drone fire. Red squadron has engaged, but some personal protection would be welcome. Is there anyway to beam a personal shield emitter to our coordinates?? =^=

COS Ch’zaolrirh

=^=Understood Ch’zaolrirh. Hang on. The personal shield emitter is on its way, =^= Jason assured him. He directed his attention to ops. “Mister Suvok, give us a scan of the area around the away team. If something’s heading for them, I want to know what it is and from where its coming from.” He then glanced at the tactical console. “Reynolds I’m assuming you know where the personal shield emitters are stored on this ship?”

“We have two in our stores. They are not part of our normal gear but we had them replicated for emergency uses,” Reynolds offered.

GM

“Deliver one of them to the transporter room,” Jason ordered. “If you have to leave the bridge, we’ll hold down the fort from here.” No doubt in an hour or two, the noncommissioned officers in charge of supplies could get the needed equipment to the transporter rooms themselves but since the Dragoon was still beaming people aboard there was no guarantee that the right people were available and back on duty yet.

Jason Harn, XO

A few moments later she stepped into the transporter room =^= Commander Harn ready to transport down=^= She nodded to the transporter operator.
