Toro strode into the transporter room and sent word to Harn she was ready to beam down

CIO

Michael hurried in after her, just barely making it to the transporter pad in time.

=^=Acknowledged Toro. Energize,=^= Jason responded.

Jason Harn, XO

The familiar glow that accompanied a transport came and went. The CIO found herself in what looked like a bridge running on minimal power. The life support systems were not on. The air was thin but not unbreathable. Probably, due to her movement, the lights turned on slowly and she could feel the air quality slowly getting better.

As these things were going on, Toro had an opportunity to observe her surroundings. The bridge was considerably smaller than Starfleet vessels. It was about a third the size of a Galaxy class bridge. Its size was more akin to Romulan ships although the stations did not display anything that she could remember from her study of the Romulan ship systems. At the centre was a single chair, presumably for the captain of the ship. Just in front of the chair was a single station. From the display illustration, it seemed that this station had helm and weapon controls. The station on the port side were sensors and weapons. The starboard station showed the engines and weapons. At the back was a very interesting station. For the moment, it showed the purpose of the ship. It was a colony ship. However, it was not a simple ship carrying colonists. It was a ship that was going to prepare the planet for colonisation. There were what seemed like tendrils leading from the ship to the main continent of the planet: where the Dragoon’s crew were found.

Michael looked around the ship. “Holy…” his sentence trailed off. He approached the back console for a closer look. “What are these things?” He pointed at The tendrils. After a second, he had an idea. “Well, if I can get a query through the system about their functionality, I bet it’ll at least give be a system name.” He glanced at Toro then set to work.

Toro glanced at Gould “I’m not sure. But we’re going to find out.” She said “Keep alert. ” She said as she moved over to the station at the back of the ship and carefully touched the screen to see if she could get it to come back on.

OOC: There was some mention of me going with Toro in the Dragoon thread, I’m just following that.
.

Looking at the charts that he chanced upon looking up the navigation station, he discovered the origin of the ship. From the stars’ orientations, it seemed like the Organian system. Before he could take a look at the chart again, suddenly, the ship’s systems shut down.

GM

“Gould, let see if we can get the systems up and running so we can at least figure out the tendrils “This ship was preparing for colonization of the planet. But why the Tendrils. Was this their way of preparing the surface of the planet or something else.” She asked, she wanted to get some sort of answer before contacting Harn with any information.

CIO

Their tricorders showed that there were fusion generators four decks below. The main power source was a warp core that had gone offline.

GM

“Well,” Michael said “there has to be something equivalent to a jeffries tube somewhere. The warp core is what went offline. All I have to do is bypass whatever turned it off, and we’re back in business.” Searching for a hatch, he theorised “It might be similar to the Dragoon shutdown. The crew beamed down and when everyone was gone, the ship turned off.”

-Lt Michael Gould, CE

He found a kind of door that opened toward the hull. He found that he was faced with the hull of the ship. There were about three metres between the hull of the ship and the wall of the bridge that he had just exited. Entering the compartment, he saw a long walkway next to the wall of the bridge and moving towards the rear and the front the ship. From what he saw, he theorised that there was a walkway going round the ship. There were branches that moved to another walkway that bordered the hull. As he walked, he found some places where there were what seemed like computer terminals. These terminals were now offline. However, it was not difficult to see where the walkway would eventually lead to … the engineering room.
