Michael set to work. He glanced at Toro. “This isn’t a permanent solution. But it’ll buy us time to locate and get main power running.” His uniform collar never seemed so restraining as it did when he was working to bring a ship of unknown origin and technology back to life.

-Lt Michael Gould, CE

Whilst the principles behind fusion generators were basically the same, Gould could see that the technology that built the particular generator was definitely more advanced than what the Federation was capable of. The engineering feats in the mechanisms were breath-taking to the chief engineer. The small design elements actually made the fusion generators more efficient than what the Federation currently had. He managed to get the fuel into the fuel chambers and when he activated the generator, the generator began with a very low rumble. It then began to grow to a hum. It was less noticeable than what they had on the Olinski but the generators were working. The immediate task was: where to channel the energy generated?

Michael routed power to restart the computer. “Alright. Now that we have computer access, I’m going to try to get the warp core and main power online. We have about 5 hours. Maybe you can find something on the computer about where this ship comes from, what they’re doing here.” He started looking for the warp core and its control panel.

-Lt Michael Gould, CE

When the computer booted, the system symbols appeared. They were familiar but not commonly seen. Gould and Toro soon realised that they were looking at symbols from the Iconian empire.

Toro turned her wrist torch on and began looking around the area to see if there were any hazards that could pose a threat to them. Her phaser was ready to fire if needed. This was an engineering area and there were plenty of areas that someone or something could be hiding.

In fact, there was another door on the far wall. From the tricorder readings, the room was closest to the sea bed.

GM

“Iconians. Fantastic.” Michael said sarcastically. =/\=Gould to Harn. The ship is Iconian. I can probably get her 100% up and running, but do we want to? We have computer access.=/\=

-Lt Michael Gould, CE

=^=Iconian?=^= Jason answered. =^=Hold on there Gould. If you have computer access, see if you can find out what the Iconian ship’s mission was first. We don’t want to unleash an uncontrollable super weapon on the Galaxy.=^=

Jason Harn, XO, erring on the side of caution (and moving Parker’s post to the correct thread)

“Uncontrollable superweapon. This day just keeps getting better.” He remembered a safe, quiet job offer at Earth Spacedock. But no, he had to have excitement and adventure. He put a query into the computer, searching for original mission parameters.

-Lt Michael Gould, CE

In the meantime, Michael could overhear a voice that must have been broadcasting from the Olinski that must have been broadcasting from the hidden speakers on the commanding officer’s chair on the bridge of the Dragoon: =^=Captain Parker to Harn. Please update your situation. Were at a crossroads here and we need to know what this ship plays in this all and if it can help.=^=

=^= Hold on Gould, I’m getting another call,=^= Jason informed him. =^= Call you back. Harn out.=^=

Jason Harn, XO, checking with the CO

Gould could not detect anything like a super weapon. The ship had some sophisticated weapons but they were just energy beam weapons and projectile weapons. Their power was unknown of course but from what he could make out from the schematics the kind of weapons they were.
