Back at SB 257 the crew were given a week off. However on Saturday of that week would be the Black and White Ball in the main auditorium which was being converted through the magic of Holotech into a grand hall. It was alike a giant version of an old style ballroom hall. (Take a look here for an idea)The Captain himself was arranging it but had called the XO over to explain the concept. However it was possible that Harn would know more about the real thing than he did. Frankly he did not know if his XO would or would not.

When Jason entered the auditorium he let out a low whistle. “It looks like the Stratos Hall on Ardana in here,” he commented. “What’s the occasion Captain?” he added casually as he walked over to his commanding officer’s side.
Jason Harn, XO
“XO we are going to have a wind down Black and White formal ball. Let me tell you all about it.” He said wrapping his arm around the shoulder of the XO as if to say your in it now buddy.
OOC: I’m just going to jump right into the Ball because were running behind.
The night, if living in space really has a day and night, at the SB had finally arrived. The Captain had sent out the invites using the SB entertainment and relations staff.
What: Black and White Ball
Where: Main auditorium holodeck (Level 36)
Who: All Olinski Crew plus 2
When: Stardate (blah blah..I never know stardates)
Dress: Formal. Black and White attire only
Time: 7 pmWith that done previously the Captain now waited at the actual event. It was empty at this time except for the attending staff of cooks, hostesses, waiters etc..moving around. He was very impressed with the setting. A small orchestra had been set up to one side and later he had a live band who would join them. It was in his opinion about as well as it could be. Thank the stars for the SB staff. He would have never pulled this off on his own. Thanks to Harn for helping and the SB. So now he waited for the first guest as the orchestra started up an easy melody.

Ael was never one to be late. At exactly 7, he appeared. He was dressed in a white formal Romulan robe. Not dissimilar to something Vulcan. Seeing only the Captain present, he stopped in his tracks. “Sir.”
