Having slipped away from the ball, the Counselor slid into the chair behind his desk and opened turned on his monitor. He certainly did have fun at the ball but found that he had fallen behind on his duties since their last mission. Sending a general reminder to the ship’s staff about evaluations, the Lieutenant walked over to the replicator and ordered a root beer before returning to his chair to wait.

Since the Captain was going to be gone for a while he decided to fulfill his duty to take his mental physical before he left. That way if he lost his mind in court no one could claim he was crazy.

The Captain hit the CNS chime button to enter.

“Counselor. I’m a day away from taking my leave so I thought I would get this done.” He said as he walked in. What he meant to say is get it over with. He had been famous in his career for avoiding these sessions and Michaels had been good to allow it. So he was due.

Trevor stood up and gestured to one of the empty chairs near his desk. “Must be important since you’ve only stepped foot in my office once in the past 6 years.” The Counselor stated. Trevor laughed and sat back down once the CO took his seat.

“There’s no doubt you’re fit for duty so I’ll cut out the leading questions.” Lieutenant Michaels was correct having spent a majority of his time on the Bridge or sitting in on conferences with the Captain. “How are you feeling about taking some time away from the Olinski?”
