“I’ll remain on the Bridge if you need me.” The Counselor said as he followed the aCO back onto the Bridge. Trevor was probably going to have to speak with Doolittle when he comes back to the ship but for now, the Lieutenant would have to watch the mission unfold from his seat.

“Thanks Trevor, take Kolar’s station,” Jason replied as they walked past the tactical station. “Toro, I’m headed to the CIC, call me if there are any developments,” Jason called over his shoulder has he headed to the turbolift. Before entering it he turned to face her. “Is Ric’s fighter back aboard yet?”

Jason Harn, XO

Toro shook her head. “Not yet Commander also we have two fighters in the proximity of the away team. They have been notified.” She said “Anything else comes up I’ll let you know immediately.”

“Thanks Toro,” Jason nodded before turning and entering the turbolift. “CIC,” he said as the doors closed and obscured him from view.

Trevor watched the exchange of conversation and waited until the turbolift doors closed before turning to Toro. “I wonder if he knows that I’m not a science officer.” The Counselor laughed as he sat down at the science station. It was awhile since his he stood in as station watch.

“Better science than tactical, I guess.” Lieutenant Michaels added.

Jason Harn, aCO

=^=Whose fighters sir?=^= Kolar questioned.

Kolar

Toro looked at the Counselor and chuckled “Tactical isn’t that hard.” She said as she pulled up the screen =^=Mr. Kolar, they are ours. They are tracking the storms as they move off.=^= Toro said as she watched the fighters.

CIO

=^=Roger that, We are aboard the Sierra now, it seems all it as well as it could be.=^=

Kolar CSO

Toro gave a brief nod =^=Understood. Keep us posted.=^= She said and closed the link “How far off is that storm?”

CIO

OOC: I really shot myself in the foot having Jason leave the bridge…

Jason Harn, aCO

OOC: It would see so. I can have Toro call you back if you would like.

IC: Toro continued to watch the forward view screen and the screen that she had transferred to the Captain’s chair, she wanted to keep eyes on everything so that they could pull the team out if needed.

CIO

Sitting in the captain’s seat with a data padd in her hand, Toro continued her search on the people that were onboard the Sierra. Seeing what if any connections they had that might shed light onto what was going on. She looked into the crew as well for their past. Mostly it was to get a sense of who the away team may encounter and any issues they may have with those encounters.

CIO

Toro’s thoughts were interrupted by the first officer’s disembodied voice contacting her over the ship’s internal communications system. =^=Harn to bridge. Any update from the away team?=^=

OOC: I’ll take you up on that offer.

Jason Harn, aCO

The Counselor had remained seated on the Bridge, though his expertise wasn’t needed at the moment. His thoughts of Doolittle were interrupted as he heard Harn’s voice over the comm system.

CNS

=^=Balfor to Olinski, Everything seems to be moving along Commander. The Captain reported he landed to effect repairs and that the storm clogged his intakes and made the procedure more difficult. The landing team is assisting where ever possible and there a few caualties… the doctor is reviewing them.=^=

Kolar

=^=Acknowledged Balfor. Will it be necessary to evacuate any of them?=^= Together Jason and Kolar’s voices simulated a 20th century radio show for those on the bridge.

Jason Harn, aCO

=^=I as of yet haven’t gotten any updates from Dr. Doolittle. No news in this case means good news,=^= Kolar’s voice reported.

=^=Any idea how long repairs to the Sierra will take until she’s spaceworthy?=^= the acting CO asked.

=^=Should be less than an hour, Sir.=^=

Toro listened to the exchange and waited for a pause before she opened a direct line to Harn =^=Sir, something doesn’t seem right.=^= She said =^=I’m not an engineer, but it doesn’t seem like they should have had to land.=^= She said =^=I’m still working on finding more information on the passengers and the crew through my channels.=^=

CIO

=^=Hold, Kolar. standby,=^= Jason instructed. =^=Toro, what do you mean? Are you saying that the Olinski’s sensors can’t find anything wrong with the Sierra?=^=

Jason Harn, aCO

=^=Its going to be silica, sand… basically, that will turn into glass. I don’t see how that will be a problem.=^= Kolar continued talking as if the Commander had asked him a completely different question. He also walked away from the Captain on the transport and reset the audio so it only went to his ear.
