Alexandra came into the stands of the ballpark and admired Ric’s hit. She didn’t know the Captain and CAG were baseball players.

The Captain knew he was in trouble when he saw Ric get under the ball and beat the break. He watched as it soared to center field and into the stands.
“Good hit Ric. I guess my dreams of the major leagues were just dreams after all. I will have to stick to flying a trillion credit starship.” He said jokingly.
Parker CO
Feeling better that he finally gotten a hold of one, Ric tipped his helmet in Sid’s direction. As he did so, he noticed the lone figure sitting in the stands. “Don’t feel bad, skipper. I had a chance to play ball professionally. Was drafted right out of secondary school by the Cestus Comets, but my mind was already in the stars. I had already been accepted into the Academy by then.”
Flipping the bat around, he extended the handle toward Sid. “You wanna take a few cuts?”
Ricochet (CAG)
Sid walked over to Ric.
“No I am afraid not. I don’t want to embarrass myself.” He said nicely turning down the offer.
He had enjoyed the chance to pitch but was by no means a batter.
Parker CO
Ric pulled the bat back and leaned it against his shoulder. “Suit yourself, skip, but anytime you wanna play or just toss the ball around, I’d be happy to join you. I’ve got a couple of game programs set up. It helps keep the reflexes sharp and helps when you’re flying a bird.”
He turned to look at the stands once again and saw Lt. Drake still watching. He raised his voice and called over to the COS. “What about you, Lt? You play or just a fan of the game?”

Sid gave him a nod and wandered his way out of the holodeck. He had rather enjoyed himself.
Parker CO
Ric watched the captain leave the holodeck then turned and began walking down the baseline toward Drake. “Lt.? You’re welcome to take some cuts or shag some balls if you want?”
