Meanwhile, in the ready room, Starfleet Command responded to the call from Captain Parker.=/\=Parker! Report!=/\= a very haggard looking Vice Admiral Pond came into view.
=^=Admiral we have defeated the Breen in all respects. We have casualties but overall the battle went our way and I do not see the Breen making another incursion like this anytime soon=^=

=/\=That’s good. Are there Been prisoners? From unofficial sources, the Breen authorities are claiming that this is an activity of the mercenary groups. The authorities are distancing themselves from this incident. Intelligence reports little activity in the Breen space at the moment. They don’t seem to be launching another attack. However, until the Official announcements come from the Breen, please keep alert. We will keep you posted when there are further news.=/\=

=^= Well Admiral we will hold them as pirates for the moment but I suspect the Breen will wait a while and then negotiate for their release and the ships eventually. You will be receiving the list of fallen. The Tholians put in a good fight too and lost people on their side too. I suggest an official communique to them on your part too. I will be contacting their Captain after this call.=^=
