James entered sick by and saw a nurse by the front entrance. He looked at her and said “Hello I am Lt. Hawkins I am here for my boarding physical” he said, with a slight Irish accent.Lt. James Hawkins (COS)
The nurse glared at him and said “Well bully for you.” and he ontinued on his way. A voice from behind the reception desk said “Hello sir! May I help you?” The speaker was a Capitan wearing a medical blue uniform with Petty Officer First class rank on her sleeve.
Nurse Brenns
“ I am Lt. James Hawkins I am the new COS I am here for my boarding physical” he said again looking confused of why the nurse was rude.
Lt. James Hawkins (COS)
The nurse at the desk smiled and said “Of course, sir. Commander Abel will be with you momentarily. If you please have a seat on biobed six, I’ll let him know you are here.”
Med Staff
James went to biobed six and took a set he layed down on the bio bed. The shuttle ride was long and he didn’t realize how tired he was intill he layed down. His eyes got heavy and he closed them to rest them for a bit.
Lt. James Hawkins (COS)
“Well, I would guess fatigue is an issue then Lieutenant.” an unfamiliar voice said.
The speaker was a human-looking male in his early thirties with dark red hair and green eyes wearing the blue medical uniform and Lieutenant Commander pips on his collar. He smiled and said “Other than tired, how are you feeling?”
Abel, CMO
James smiled “after 48 hours a wake on a shuttle ride. I would say I’m doing pretty good” he said sitting up a little bit. He grabbed a Pad in his bag that had his medical information saved on it. “This should help me get saved into the ships computer a little bit quicker. The boys at Starfleet said it had an interface system. Just waited over the computer here in Sickbay, and my information will be automatically uploaded into the system.”

The CMO looked at the new Security Chief with a puzzled expression. “You do know that we already have that information… right? Standard procedure. Your file was sent when you were assigned. And one if the first things I do every morning is request any updates for personnel in transit.” He smiled politely, but in his head he thought How did a guy with Lieutenant pips not know that? Must be his first ship assignment, I guess. His personnel record was ‘brief’, to say the least. Abel looked at the monitors on the biobed for a moment, compared them to the file on hand, and then said “Other than some fatigue, you are fit and ready for duty. Get some sleep and you’ll be fine. Do you need anything else?”

James looked at the CMO “I have worked on a few old ship and I had to bring a copy of my medical records. This is the first newer ship I have worked on” he said as he got up “ can you point me in the direction of the mess hall” he said with a small smile.
