=^= Michaels to Bridge, our patients are moving around in a trance like state.=^= The Counselor called out as they followed Redding. =^= Doolittle, Nurse T’fanni and myself are following Redding right now, but be advised he may not be the only one walking about....=^=

CNS

Mirri docked with the Olinski and contacted Sickbay =^=Sickbay this is Lt Lawerance. I have returned to the ship and have been directed to contact you before leaving the shuttle.=^= She said.

Helm

=^=Acknowledged Lawrence,=^= Dr. Jaksu’mir’sor’rami a physician whose ancestors did not come from Earth replied. =^=Remain in your shuttle. We’ll beam you directly to sickbay when we’re ready.=^=

=^=Understood. Can you give me an update on what’s going on?=^=

=/\=We seem to have a contagion in the ship. Several crew members have collapsed and been brought into sickbay totally unable to respond to our questions even though the sensors show that they are awake and terribly afraid. We are not able to isolate the contagion. Please report to sickbay if you suddenly feel unwell. =/\=

The patient who tumbled out of bed stumbled up and moved tentatively towards the doors of sickbay.

The two security officers stationed in Sickbay moved forward to intervene.

Dr. Jaksu’mir’sor’rami or Jak as he was known moved forward too.

“Crewman. Can here hear me? Blink twice if you can hear me?” The Acamarian Dr said.

NE with a name Jak

The crewman blinked twice.

GM

Jak knew this was probably the same thing the CMO had just experienced.

“Blink twice if you know what whatever is controlling you wants you to do. Blink once if you do not.” He instructed.

Dr. Jak

The patient blinked twice and his blood pressure was increasing due to the stress and the panic.

=^=Attention all hands,=^= Jason’s voice announced over the intercom. =^=We have just been informed that the wreckage of the USS Hotspur a survey ship currently assigned to map the Gamma Quadrant has recovered by the USS Titan. I ask that all aboard stop whatever you’re doing and stand at attention in honor of the brave men and women who served aboard her. A moment of silence, please!=^= There was a brief pause before the commander’s voice spoke again. =^=For the next thirty seconds, let us remember the officers and crew of the Hotspur.=^=

Back in sickbay, the inhibitors were used and the patients were back in their bio beds. Dr. Jak had made quick work with his hypospray.

GM

Mirri suddenly found herself in Sickbay, and found a scene of chaos grabbing the first medical staff she could “What help do you need?” She asked looking around “If nothing else I can help with security, until security gets here.”

Helm

Suddenly all the patients were beamed back to sickbay or taken there. Doolittle arrived with T’Fanni and Redding. It was chaos but they quickly got all the patients sedated and into bio beds. Remembering that this was a big sickbay because it had combat applications.

Doolittle was overwhelmed.

“Counselor I have no idea what to do” He admitted to Michaels. This was out of character for the confident English aristocrat psychologist. He was obviously stressed.

“Uhhh uhh helmsman.” He called out to Mirri not remembering her name. “I think we have it now. Thanks for the help.”

The other Doctors and nurses seemed to be getting on top of the sickbay but Doolittle was nowhere near getting on top of the problem.

Doolittle

“And you see why I wanted to become a Counselor.” Trevor laughed as he looked up at the nearest bioscan reading. The truth was, Lieutenant Michaels didn’t know where to go from there either. He hadn’t been in active in a Sickbay for nearly a decade, and certainly never encountered their situation before.

“Lets activate the EMHs once more....we’ll need their help.” The Lieutenant said, looking over at Doolittle.

Mirri stood back out of the way and watched ready to help if she was needed. Granted she only had basic first aid but it could do something.
