“Ah, I see.” She offered a faint smile to the opposing woman, clasping her hands in her lap, in order to achieve a more comfortable position than she had been in, previously. Momentarily, she studied the good doctor, before brushing away her thoughts in favour of the physical and it’s completion. “Elmira O’Shea.” She informed, simply.

“Alright then,” Boja said, quickly bringing up the woman’s medical record. She skimmed it enough to get a thorough glimpse of anything that was notable. “Any illnesses, injuries or accidents not on file I should know about?” she asked.

OOC: Can you give me the run down of her med file?

OOC: She is fairly healthy. However she does suffer from premature arthritis, primarily in her lower vertabrae and neck. :)

IC: “I broke my neck about two years ago, it had no correlation to Starfleet. One of the doctors on the planet treated it, so I don’t know if it was ever put on my Starfleet file. They didn’t exactly coordinate with Starfleet very well, being a planetside practice.” She informed, “Otherwise, no noted injuries.”

Boja blinked. “Uhh… it shouldn’t matter that it wasn’t with Starfleet. A neck fracture is a signifiant event and should be on your file. Everything should be in your file. We can’t treat you properly without a proper medical history. Well, we can, but it’s better for you and us that we have that info. So I need you to obtain it all and I will make sure your file is update.” Yes she was being stern about it, but really, a neck fracture wasn’t considered important enough information? So bizarre.

Glancing at the data again, she frowned. “Can you tell me about the arthritis? It’s an easy thing to teat with our advanced medicine, so I think I’m going to need more info on that as well.” Chronic pain could be debilitating under certain circumstances, so it was important she had the full picture to help O’Shea.
