Jet black hair in a long braid swung almost hypnotically behind the gypsy looking woman in engineering garb as she walked towards medical. Vadoma had arrived the night before and was looking forward to the first of several checkins that would make her a part of the Saracen crew. The five foot seven inch woman whose body was build like a runner, moved with an almost abnormal grace around corners and between small groups of fellow ship mates as she traversed the halls. She had memorized the way to medical, the common rooms, engineering and the councilor’s office. She wanted to be ready if anything happened before she was completely integrated and checked in.
She rounded the corner and entered medical. Eyes of eerie silver gazed around the room as her hands smoothed out invisible wrinkles on her impeccable uniform. She smiled at the crew member she saw exiting and stepped aside to clear the door before stepping further in and seeing if anyone was available. She didn’t want to intrude on those already occupied with other crew mates.

EngineerDaye looked at the list of appointments for sickbay and glanced up at the door. She had been waiting to see one new arrival. The name as it crossed the list of people transferring on had instantly caught her attention. Romani. It was clearly Russian. Daye just wondered how much so. Seeing her she walked up to the waiting area of sickbay. “Ensign Romani I’m Dr. Daye. Wanna come with me to get your physical done” she asked with a smile.

Romani turned and smiled as the woman approached her. “Hello, Doctor. Yes, of course.” She followed where she was led and slid gracefully up onto the med bed as directed while watching the woman move. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Doctor Daye. Hope things haven’t been too horribly crazy for you lately. Seems like Science is about the only department that craves craziness on a daily basis.” She smiled and leaned back slightly on her arms as she waited.
