Cori grinned slightly and considered him for a moment before she shook her head. “No, I don’t think so. If I hadn’t kept losing family I think I’d probably not know myself. Can’t be that strange a thing, can it? After all, I’m not the psychologist,” she said grinning more before sipping her drink.

Putting on as comical an air of haughtiness as he could muster, Royal said “That’s Doctor of Psychology and Xeno-psychology to you, Madame.” and then let out a soft ‘bah’ as he waggled his fingers dismissively. He then laughed out loud and shook his head. “Oh, I’m sure there is some kind of psychological disorder associated with it, but screw it… I’m off the clock.” and he took another a drink.

“Isn’t there something against self-diagnosis anyway?” Cori said, her already vibrant eyes lighting up for a moment.
Chewing on her lower lip for a moment, she twirled her holographic drink in her hand. “Okay, so I know you’re not on the clock and while I’m asking my friend, I do realize that my friend has a particular skill set and knowledge applicable here. Can I pick your professional brain for a moment?” she said, suddenly feeling anxious.
