Appreciating her new boss even more with every spoken word she went on to think for a moment about his question, what did she want to accomplish? Thinking a moment a frown forming ever so slightly on her face Ella finally answered. “I think i just want to better work on myself, get a better understanding of who I am as a person and grow out of my Elasian heritage. I don’t want to forget it but I’ve come to learn that my people are not the nicest. And then I want to use that learning experience to help others. “
~Ens. Ella LokaaSinclair nodded as she spoke and then said “Well, growing out of one’s heritage… especially their genetic heritage… is a tall order. Maybe a more realistic goal is to find what it is about your people that you find positive, and focus on those traits? My own people, the Scots have their share of negative issues. But… we have a lot of things to offer, and that’s what I try to espouse. Just my two cents… you can take it or leave it as you want.” and he chuckled.

“I’ll take that on board sir.” She said whilst thinking about his words carefully, for her the journey was going to be rocky but in the end she will know once she has achieved her ultimate goal whether it be as Starfleet Captain, a mother, or something else entirely. Only time would tell. “I’m honestly just hoping to get from one day to another and not feel like I’ve wasted it,” Ella added after a short silence.
