Sha met up with Delta team at the intersection aft of Engineering. “They aren’t answering comms. Let’s go in assuming something is wrong. Stay sharp. We can just hope it’s a down comm relay. But let’s not assume anything.”

After getting affirmations from the other four on the team, she stepped through the doors to engineering, phaser at her side at the ready, ready to respond at the first sign of trouble. Her head swiveled looking for the Chief.

Engineering was, normal by all accounts. A console or two flickered and the crew was working as you would expect a Starfleet crew to be, while others looked over the systems diagnosing what issue may have been causing minor power fluctuations and the Chief supervised the team further back in Main Engineering.

A Trill at the flickering console looked up at the Security detail and raised an eyebrow, giving them only slight acknowledgement while he finished inputting a series of other diagnosis commands then looked back to Rambo Squad in the doorway. “Can I help you?”

Ensign Osedi, Engineering

Sha frowned and waved back the escort that was behind her to stand by but not leave. “We came to see what was wrong. Bridge is saying no one here was answering comms? Is there no comms arriving or is something more pressing that no one could answer?” She left both questions viable and tried her hardest not to look around and judge what she could see on the surface. Not being the engineering type, she couldn’t tell is this was the usual commotion down here or if something really was wrong.

If anyone ran a diagnostic, the comms stystem seemed to be functioning normally. There was no evidence of a malfunction.

After checking the comms were functioning, she reiterated how important it was that someone always answer bridge calls. She nodded to the section leader and headed towards medical, hoping they had just been busy or lazy in not responding.

((moving it along for story sake))
