It had been a couple of months since Lake boarded the Saracen and for the most part, she was enjoying her assignment. She had noticed that number of officers that visited her office was less than on other ships she’d been posted on. That either meant the crew of the Saracen were more adept at handling life on a day to day basis, or that there was a lot of hidden tension among the crew.
She decided to take a walk around the ship and do some observing. Perhaps she’d spot a few likely candidates to call in for an appointment. With that in mind, Lake left her quarters and began walking.
