“Your friends name and rank again, any research that you know she was working on. . . . the name of that stalker guy she’s working with, and the name of her new boyfriend. All of that is a good place to start. I’ll cross-reference that info and see how many pings we get back . . . .”

“Lt. Bonner, Alexis Claire, USS Ogawa. She was the assistant chief medical officer, but now she’s doing medical research in the R&D lab for science. There is so much she’s done. She said the project she just came back from had to do with genetics and memory, but it was all wrong. It was classified and that was all she could tell me. Her specialties range from general practice and surgery, to genetics, xenobiology. She worked on a project a few years ago on the rise of Catian congenital heart defects. She worked on creating antiviral for the Romulan Terothka virus, she’s worked on so much. Just searching her name in the medical data base brings up anything she’s worked on except what might be classified or restricted. The stalker guy…I don’t know his last name, he was a Lt back then by the name of Soulis. S-o-u-l-i-s. Three years ago I believe she said he was working in operations, but now of course we know he was Intel.” Hannah sighed, this was the hard part, did she really want to delve this far into Alexis’ personal life? “His name is Solomon Kane. She didn’t mention his rank, but he’s in charge of the R&D lab on the Ogawa.”

After inputting all the data, he leaned back and smiled at Hannah. “This may take awhile. Any ideas on how to keep us occupied while the search is running?”

Colter (XO/CIO)

Hannah grinned at him. “Well I don’t know about you, but first thing I’m doing is changing into something other than my uniform.” Hannah disappeared into the other room, for longer than it should take her with lots of rummaging sounds going on.

Hannah reappeared in midriff t-shirt and low waisted yoga pants, and her hands tucked behind her back. She glanced around for him, a glint in her eye. “Hey Daniel…” and from behind her back she pulled out some strange looking plastic projectile toy and then fired a foam dart right at him. She didn’t wait to see if it landed, she dived behind a chair laughing.
Asimina, doc

Not expecting to be “shot” by his lover, he turned just in time to be caught right between the eyes with the foam dart. Without hesitation, DaVinci launched himself over the chair and grabbed Hannah in motion. He rolled until she was securely pinned to the floor beneath him.

Hannah’s forward momentum was halted abruptly by a warm solid wall of muscle and strong arms, and her direction altered just as quickly. Her eyes opened wide, unexpectedly, at the suddenness of it. It wasn’t that she had forgotten how agile and quick he was, but the reality was shocking compared to the memory. She remembered to tuck her chin to protect her head at the last moment. It didn’t matter as she landed on top of Daniel, and then they rolled and she was staring up at him, hands and dart gun and herself pinned and she grinned. “We keep meeting like this.” Hannah looked up at him, her gaze equally loving and passionate.

Looking down with a mischievous grin, he said, “Think you’re pretty funny, don’t ya?”

Grinning, Hannah shook her head, “I do not. I know I’m funny.” Then the scuffle ensued to retain possession of the dart gun. Daniel was determined to have it and Hannah was equally determined to prevent that for as long as possible. Part of the problem was all the dirty tricks she knew, Daniel had taught her. And most of those were far too much for the fun they were having. Which means the scuffle wasn’t long at all, but long enough to coax laughter out of Hannah.

He wrestled the dart gun out of her grasp and tossed it well out of Hannah’s reach before lowering his face close to her own. “I don’t need that gun to get back at you for that little stunt. I’ve got my own dart gun. . . .” He leaned in closer and kissed her neck, “. . . .that I’m going to shoot you with. . . .(kiss). . . over. . . .(kiss). . . .and over. . . .(kiss) . . .and over . . . (kiss) . . . and over . . . . (kiss) . . . .again . . . .(kiss) . . . .until you fall asleep in my arms, completely relaxed and satisfied.”

She gave the toy very little thought after it was gone. She watched him lean closer, her hands following the curve of his shoulders and clasped behind his neck. She let out a gentle sigh as he began to kiss her. “Such promises. Good thing you are an expert marksman, Daniel.”

Her cut-off shirt has risen even higher during their wrestling, baring even more of Hannah’s well toned abdomen and chest. DaVinci took that as an invitation to continue and with pleasure began to work his way lower. . . . .

Biography:

REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED

Arriving in San Francisco, he went directly to the Academy with a copy of his application, With all of these in hand, he walked directly into the lobby and said to the receptionist “I‘m here to join Star Fleet. I’m not leaving till you let me in.” and slapped the documents on the desk. He was there for four hours refusing to move, arguing with every administrator that arrived and probably would still be in that spot save for a singular occurrence.

A large crash occurred just outside the Academy entrance. Hearing screeching and the impact followed by crunching metal, Kane looked and saw several people injured an three vehicles on fire. He rushed out to the scene and immediately began triaging the injured. He then saw a child trapped in the back seat of one of the vehicles; it’s parent’s unconscious in the front. Two Star Fleet Security officers ran past him and started trying to pull the door open. Kane knew it was useless and knocked one of the officers out of the way, grabbing his phaser from his belt. He fired at the hinges, opening the door and pulling the occupants to safety while suffering second degree burns to the palms of his hands, face, and forearms. He continued to work on stabilizing the people until medical response arrived on the scene, at which time he promptly passed out.

He woke in the Academy infirmary. Standing by his biobed was a Star Fleet Admiral who was staring at him. “You don’t look like Star Fleet, that’s for damn sure.” he said. “But… you definitely have the right attitude. Welcome to Star Fleet Academy, Cadet. I’m interested to see what you make of this chance.” And he turned and walked away. Confused, Kane lay back and was processed into the next class over the next few days.

His time at the Academy was notable for several reasons. First, he was selected by his classmates as class leader for the first two years. This was promptly rescinded after a brawl with three older class-men. Second, he finished third in class after the General course. An instructor remarked “He would have been first had he not spent so much time in front of the Disciplinary Committee.” Additionally, he finished not only in the top ten percent of the Medical course, but graduated as Physician’s Assistant with advanced coursework and his previous experience. He was also selected for advanced training in Emergency Medicine , all of which he completed with great success. Most remarkable, was his insistence on cross training in Engineering and Science courses. He finished his Academy career as a Medical Officer with both Experimental Engineering and Science qualifications; an uncommon feat with an even more uncommon combination. He was sought after by several posts, but decided that he would prefer a ship based assignment, even if it meant temporarily foregoing some of the non-medical interests he had.

He was assigned to the USS Stephen Hawking, a Search and Rescue vessel, for his Cadet cruise. On board, he developed a reputation as a great doctor and a solid tactical officer, but a hard person to get along with. He did make a few friends, but the nature of his childhood meant he kept them at arm’s length. He proved himself to a capable officer overall, and he was promoted to Ensign and then Lieutenant Junior Grade after his actions assisting the evacuation of a stricken Federation vessel caught in an ion storm and being dragged into a gravity well. Kane boarded the vessel and remained even when given the order to evacuate. He drug two unconscious passengers to the transporter room and beamed out less than a minute before the ship collapsed in on itself. Kane’s actions saved the lives of several personnel thought lost and earned him the Citation for Conspicuous Gallantry with his promotion.

He was then transferred to the REDACTED to serve as a Medical Officer. He held this position for almost a year, when he was promoted to Lieutenant and named the Chief Medical Officer.

Physical Description:
Bonner is a human female of average height with a lightly tanned expression. She is of average height coming in at 5’6”, 126 pounds. Brown eyes and bright auburn hair. Subject has two tattoos on her back, a DNA strand and a periodic table. Bonner is physically fit but a liability in a physical confrontation

Psychological Profile:
Alexis has a diagnosed and severe phobia, Nyctophobia - Fear of the dark. Alexis will drop into a free fall panic if put in the dark for even the shortest period of time. She consistently requests quarters on the interior of her station to avoid having windows. Her quarters and any workspace is always brightly lit. She has worked with the ship’s counselor and can now sleep with the lights at 80%. She has worked to the point she can be in a room with the lights at 45% but only for a very few minutes. This phobia is so bad that Alexis has actually never attended a movie and when planet side does not go out after sunset unless the city is ‘lit up like noon.’

Alexis was seriously involved with the wrong man, early in her career. A side effect of being so dedicated to her work, she never paid attention to the motivations of others, assuming the best, and never questioning. Until a fellow officer named Soulis and the ship’s counselor, Ever, showed her how wrong that was. Since that incident Alexis decided she was best served to stay away from any sort of romantic attachment. This ‘opinion’ was further solidified when both Soulis and Ever re-entered her life at the same time, manipulating her, unknowingly, to work for Star Fleet Intelligence, {REDACTED}.

Alexis has a very active and voracious mind. She often can get lost in her research and work. The focus helps calm her mind, and keep her from getting headaches. Her behavior almost appears frantic when not focused on a project. She appears to leap from topic to topic with no apparent reason, but in fact her mind is simply processing at an amazing rate. Because of Alexis’ need to delve into her work and often forgetting to come up for air, Lt Donetta, Hathaway’s counselor, suggested Alexis get a dog. Having a pet would force her to take scheduled breaks in order to take care of someone else.

Counseling Entry - Lt Donetta, CNS, USS Hathaway
Alexis is a brilliant and wonderful young woman. It is a shame that her colleagues are unable or unwilling to see past the brilliance to the sensitive and caring woman beneath. Despite the social setbacks and struggles she’s had Alexis continues to be a dedicated doctor, and make attempts for a larger life than just work. The addition of her dog, Frigga, to her life has made a great deal of difference for her. Alexis does not speak so much of being alone now, but I worry that as much good Frigga does for her, Alexis will be devastated when the inevitable of out living her happens.

Biography:
Alexis can seem standoffish when she’s in the middle of a project or research. Alexis never developed the ability to be content with her own company until after she joined her first ship. She adopted an Icelandic Sheepdog (Frigga) for company. Frigga is now a trained therapy dog and helps to attend patients while Alexis works. Alexis is compassionate, but her deep focus on work can often trump her bedside manner if she’s not paying attention.

Alexis moved quickly through the academy, having already obtained her doctorate in medicine. She stayed on the Hathaway for 8 years under the watchful eye of the CMO. Alexis was highly recommended as the AMO of the Ogawa and she was excited for the opportunity. While there she was recruited to a project for SF Intel (but really S31, unknown to her). Her achievements had gained their notice. Two days into the project, Alexis demanded a new team and had found the problem. Another 3 months and the project was finished. Eager to return to her ship, Alexis’ previous position was no longer waiting for her, so finding a better use for her mind, she joined the science department as a medical researcher.

Physical Description:
Soulis is a human male of average height with the natural paleness of his Irish heritage but tans darkly when planetside. He is of slightly above average height coming in at 5’11”, 205 pounds. Blue eyes and black hair. Soulis is physically fit and known to pick fights to prove he’s in ‘fighting condition.’

Psychological Profile:
Soulis is a very driven individual. Often like a bulldog that won’t let go once his jaws have closed. He shows obsessive tendencies but this makes him excellent for finishing any assignment he’s given despite his odds.

Cadet Soulis’ natural charisma and academy training in investigations and interrogation made him an ideal candidate for the Administration Branch school. He showed great displeasure at the assignment and during his time at the school and years following made it a primary goal to be transferred to field operations. Subject is driven by the need to perfect himself and remove any weakness he might have. He is driven to win at any cost, even to the point of crossing the line of his own personal morals. When asked what he would do if could not win, he simply stated, “I always get what I want.”

During an assignment on the Hathaway, the subject came across an individual he attempted to recruit as an asset for Intel. His behavior quickly became concerning and his reports were misdirecting and vague. Investigation showed an unhealthy obsession with the individual and a previously unknown talent for psychological manipulation. Subject was recruited {REDACTED} after being removed from the Hathaway. Subject asset deemed inadequate for use by Intel.

Despite years of removal from target assets, Soulis has continued to obsess over the individual and was allowed, after impressive persuasion, to approach the individual again for work on a special project. Behavior during project interactions became erratic and dangerous. Behavior crossing the line from obsessive to sociopathic.

Star Fleet Intelligence Command:

Lt Cmdr Guko Akira - Star Fleet Intelligence Command, Recruitment - 2387051.7 - Cadet Soulis shows a remarkable focus and determination to complete a task until he is satisfied. He shows promise in investigation and interrogation. Combining his determination for results and his natural charisma he always manages to get what he wants. Subject to be approached and recruited for SFI.

USS Fast Trac – Cadet Cruise – 238900.6 - Intelligence Administrative Branch - Passed with High Honors promoted to Lt j.g.

IKS Biv’kor – Officer exchange program – 2391120.7 – Soulis’ natural charisma not only makes him well liked among his human peers but other species as well. Hints of continued augment experimentation have been detected in the Klingon empire. En Soulis is being assigned to the officer exchange program to determine the validity of such rumors.

En Soulis - Personal Log - 2392081.9 - I was injured during tactical maneuvers. The Klingons believe being injured in the line of duty is a great honor. Even during training missions. But they have redundant biological systems. Humans do not. My recovery is taking much longer than my klingon counterparts. I am told that there is no shame in that as I am a soft ‘human.’

En Soulis - Mission Log - 2392112.6 - The Klingons are greatly ashamed of their involvement in the augmentation of their people. The doctor was loath to discuss it, but after much time and persuasion during my recovery I have finally gotten him to speak of it. I fail to understand why they would want to augment already superior species.

En Soulis - Mission Log - 2393021.2 - My time in the exchange program is over. I have found no evidence that the Klingons are continuing their augmentation program. Though I do have to wonder if a child of a Klingon and Human would produce a better, stronger, healthier, smarter, faster human offspring.

Hannah was still sleeping when DaVinci woke and began looking over the files of Soloman Kane, Alexis Bonner, and Soulis Haren. As he read the information, DaVinci raised an eyebrow in concern. It seemed Hannah’s friend got herself into some serious illegal activities dealing with genetics. At least she had the morals and ethics to see what Soulis was doing and attempt to keep him from completing his objective.

“Man, there is a lot of redacted info in here,” he said to himself. “Hopefully, my clearance is high enough to break through this stuff, otherwise I may have to call in a few favors. . . . “

Colter (XO/CIO)

There was a soft rustle of sheets as Hannah got up and padded toward the living area. She leaned against the door way in a satin robe and a content happy smile on her face. “You know you reset the temperature after but the bed is still cold without you…” The smile slipped from her face as she took in his as he sat behind the computer. She made her way over to him, “What is it?” She glanced at the screen, that was a lot of information. “Is that about Alexis?”

Asimina, doctor

“Some of it, yes” he replied. “But there’s quite a bit on the Kane guy she’s seeing, as well as Soulis. She needs to stay as far away from him as possible.. He’s got some mud, . . .and blood on his hands.”

DaVinci scanned a bit further. “All three of them have a lot of information that’s been redacted, so that might take some time to uncover all that, but there’s also something in here about a Project: Gynatone hat I’ve never heard of. Soulis was in charge of it and I’m guessing it had something to do with DNA sequencing or something. . . .similiar. . . “
