OOC Note: A while ago the Saracen had it’s Ten Forward lounge remodeled during the ships ‘10 year refit’ by a hugely talented writer and friend that most of you will remember, Jeremy DeSpain. Sadly Jeremy passed away shortly afterwards and in his memory I kept the post and the refit in play as a permanent adjustment to the Saracen. The post is accessible on our MOTD but I am going to place it here if you wish to read up on the changes, Jeremy really did do a fantastic job and made our Ten Forward something we can really use in a myriad of ways. Please feel free to use it in your own threads.

Stepping through the doors to Ten Forward Dante paused and looked around. Spiral Staircases to either side led up and down while Ten Forwards dark maroon carpet and Vulcan Hinjo wood wall panels made the spacious room welcoming and comfortable where it could have felt empty. The bar on the left and viewport to the right, billiard tables and dart boards, small stage in use by a holographic band playing quiet atmosphere music made him smile. The Saracen may have been a Battlecruiser, but the remodeled lounge was something that made her a home.

Smiling to the bartender, Lews, behind the bar he walked to one of the spiral staircases beside him and glanced up as he did so. The balcony area was quiet and secluded, full of couches and bookcases and fantastic for spending some quiet time after hours but tonight, that wasn’t his destination. Instead he descended to the Saracen’s holosuites connected to Ten Forward and walked through Holodeck One into the Cloaked Targs Debt, the Saracen’s very own nightclub.

Navigating past a number of tables where patrons sat, many of them crew members and others holographic in nature he walked to the bar on the side of the room through the blue-grey smoke of the dimly lit room. Noticeable in this club was that every ‘staff member’ was Orion, male or female and that all of them were smartly dressed, if not slightly skimpily as was the norm with Orion and nightclubs both.

“Whiskey, Captain?” The Orion man behind the bar asked him as he reached it and slid onto a bar stool. “Not tonight, let’s do Grappa,” Dante replied, smiling in thanks as the small glass was placed in front of him filled with the dangerously potent amber coloured liquid. Moving his eyes to the stage, brightly lit in comparison to the rest of the club the smile remained. The club had a wide variety of music available, and tonight was a rare sight. A human man in a very old fashioned cut of dapper black suit stood at a microphone singing very old songs from Earth, while a stunningly beautiful woman with loose flowing black hair sat on a stool somewhat behind him adding her voice to his at times that suited the song. Wearing a long red dress with a dangerous cut in the thigh that showed a shapely leg, the woman drew attention although was still just a hologram.

Dante sipped at his drink and recognized the song, Beyond The Sea, a late 1950’s song from a singer called Bobby Darin. A few people danced together to the tune as the human sang, and Dante leaned back on the bar and closed his eyes for a moment, letting the strong liquid burn it’s way down his throat as he listened.

Captain Knight, CO

DaVinci placed an empty beer bottle on the bar and indicated to Lews, he’d like another. Seeing Dante leaning back against the bar. “Seriously, Captain? Bobby Darin? I never figured you for a Booby Darin type. I was born during the height of his popularity in the mid-60’s. 1960’s, that is. I have to admit, my mom loved him, though.”

Lews returned with a bottle labeled Miller High Life. He nodded and took a drink, letting the taste of the liquid take him back in time.

Colter (CIO)

“Bobby Darrin adds some class to the place,” Dante grinned and raised his glass to acknowledge Colter. “I hear the woman though is something extra special. Apparently she’s a program came in with Vanhall, our Armorer, and integrated seamlessly with these programs. Her version of Sway is an experience, I hear.

“I’m not the only one listening to Darrin though,” he sat back on his seat and leant an elbow against the bar. “Or did you come her hoping for the Klingon rap group?”

Captain Knight, CO

Colter laughed. I feel the same way about Rap is I did 400 hundred years ago, no matter who’s singing it. Put a “C” in front of it and that’s what you’ve really got. My taste runs in the area of what’s called ‘Classic Rock’. I can still listen to Boston’s debut album and never get tired of it. In my opinion, one of the greatest albums ever released, even 4 centuries later, skipper.”

Colter (XO/CIO)

Looking confused, Dante paused with his drink. “Who is Boston?” He asked, “Never heard of them.”

DaVinci chuckled. “Sorry, skip. A classic rock band from my time. Not a bad song on that album, and a stereophonic masterpiece. Brad Delp’s vocals, one of the greatest vocalists of his time, of this time, hell. greatest of all time No fake effects to make him sound that great. It was ALL natural. Remind me to play some for you sometime.”

Teller slid in. He glanced between the two senior officers trying to decide if he actually wanted to join the conversation… He took a deep breath before he moved in behind them. “So this is where all the brass went.”

Graham

“The Commander is waiting for the Klingon Rap band,” Dante teased Colter and then motioned with his drink to Teller. “Join us, please. What do you think? Bobby Darin is a classic right? What’s your taste in music?” He asked Teller and looked back at the stage where the man in the suit was finishing up the song.

Captain Knight, CO

DaVinci almost choked on his drink. “Rap? seriously?!? They still make that?? Put a C in front of that word and that’s the perfect description. Rhyming over a rhythm bed–I’ve heard singing dogs sound better. No offense if that’s your thing, Teller, but please tell me you have better taste than rap!!”

Colter (XO/CIO)

“Oh I’m sure he does,” Dante grinned. “I was just teasing. What’s your drink Teller? It’s on the Saracen tonight. So do you prefer Bobby or Brad, Mr Graham? Or, of course, is there someone you’d rather see up on stage?”

Knight, CO

“I’ll give Bobby Darin his props. My mom loved him and he was a good pop singer, but as a pure rock vocalist–there are very few from that time that could match Brad Delp’s range.”

Colter (XO/CIO)

“Well, maybe we should request something, see how it holds up then?” Dante smirked and waved the bartender over for another drink. “What do you think this lot would enjoy, Daniel?” He waved his hand over the small crowd in the club.

Dante Knight, CO

DaVinci looked over the crowd in the bar. “I don’t know, Skip. This looks like a pretty eclectic crowd, but just to prove a point. . . .Computer, play Boston More Than A Feeling, isolated vocals.”
The XO closed his eyes as the vocals began to take him back to a time long ago . . .

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjTnR_8pt7E

As the song ended, he opened his eyes once again to the present. “That my friends, is pure magic.”“

Colter (XO/CIO)

“Sounds like a classic,” Dante grinned. “Did you ever see them in person when you were on Earth? I guess they were from around your time period back then?”

Dante Knight, CO

“Yeah, that was my time, but I never got a chance to see them. The closet they ever came to my home town, Medicine Bow, Wyoming. was Denver Colorado. That was about a three-hour trip and my parents weren’t going to let 14-15 year old me travel to Denver with a bunch of friends at the time–the late 1970’s- early 80’s. They stopped touring because of some troubles with their label in 1981, if I remember correctly. They didn’t start touring again until about 1987 and by that time I was busy making the world safe from terrorism for the US Army. Was a shame, too, I heard they put on a hell of a show.”

Colter (XO/CIO)

Bump

“You know Wyoming still has the same population now as it had in the late twentieth century,” Natasha chimed in taking a seat at the bar. Her comment was teasing and good-natured. She had always liked the XO and loved when he recanted stories from his past. “So what was life back then before computers and replicators?”

Natasha Knight.

“Hey love, glad you joined us.” He leaned forward and gave Nat a light kiss on the forehead, spectators be damned. “They still had computers, kind of. Didn’t they?” Dante asked Colter, he was sure he remembered something about those early computers but hadn’t paid all that much attention in Ancient Earth History of that era admittedly. “I know they had early replicators though,” he grinned suddenly. “They would drive up to a machine and place the order in it, then drive to a hole in a wall and a person would hand them their order, right? It was called Quick Food, right?”

“I will have a blackberry lemonade but it me with the O’Neill brewmaster Apple Cinnamon moonshine in it and pour a double shot of it before you shake it,” Natasha ordered. Looking at her husband and Colter, Natasha wrinkled up her nose. “What? Those hill billies are onto something. Not as good as vodka but…something. ‘Mercan’s did something right,” she let a twang come across her voice as she took a sip and then started laughing. “Its like you are sucking on one of those fireball candies but sipping lemonade as a church function. Snappy,” she did a shoulder wiggle as she spoke before waiting for Colter to answer Dante’s question.

Natasha Knight.

“Oh no, that sounds like a mix that’s just too easy to drink.” Dante grinned and ordered another of what he was having. “Like that huh?” He watched her shoulder wiggle, she was adorable when she found a new thing she loved.

Dante Knight

“Yes indeedy I do,” she winked at Dante. “I mean not as much as vodka. That has centuries and centuries of careful cultivation unlike the nouveau booze that is moonshine but it is a nice change.”

Directing her attention at Colter, Daye took a sip and looked at him. “So did you ever backwoods moonshine in the 80’s or wasn’t it invented back then.”

Daye

A few minutes later, it was obvious the latest shift had entered as the area began to fill with with a couple small handfuls of people. Hannah along with a few more junior members of the crew entered. They were animated and in a good mood, but not overly loud. Hannah glanced around and seeing Daniel made a quick motion with her hands, ‘Hey Handsome‘ and then joined the rest of her group at a table. Though she would love for him to join them or vice-versa he was with several members of the senior staff, so she wasn’t going to barge in. The conversation carried on and there was obviously some good natured joking going on. Whatever conversation they were having soon came to a conclusion, or cliff hanger, as a couple went off toward the music here, another for a drink there, until it was Hannah, Claire, and an engineering officer left. The Engineer shook his head and said something and Claire dropped her head into her hands.

“You’ll do great, Claire. Stop thinking about it right now. Relax. Your exam isn’t for two more days and you’ve been working on this for months now. You’ll pass.” Himma patted Claire’s hand, “Hannah’s right. Take a breath. I’m going to get us drinks.”

Asimina

“Looks like your lady is here,” Dante nodded towards Asimina and spoke to Colter. “How are the new quarters anyway? Comfortable enough for the two of you?”

Dante Knight, CO

“They’re fine, sir. Large enough that can both of us have our own space, yet small enough to keep things intimate and cozy. Thank you. How about your quarter? They must be getting a bit crowded with the 4 of you in there now?”

Colter (XO/CIO)

“If Dante would give up his closet and office we would be fine,” Natasha laughed. “I mean he has the ready room.” She winked at her husband and took another sip of her drink. It had been a inside joke for a long time that the small third bedroom in their quarters was seen as silly by her and would have been the perfect bedroom for Bruce. It was not like the lizard would have used it anyway. Bruce liked to be in the middle of everything even more so than Oscar.

Natasha Knight

“You aren’t getting my Office,” Dante jokingly growled at her. “Where would I put my miniatures? In the living space where Bruce will crush them and Oscar will eat them, or at the very least you will put em in a box when you want to dust and then I’ll never see them again?” Dante laughed and looked at Colter, then raised his drink slightly and took his own drink before continuing speaking. “Claim your space and stick to it, my friend. Cause if you don’t, you will lose it. Just say no.”

“All jokes aside,” Dante grinned and put his arm around Natasha, “The small space is perfect for me. I mean my wife works hard all day and I’m busy with my own duties most of it, so the small space means that when Tasia and I are home, we have to be together, as a family. We can’t just go and find some space and brood, we need to mingle and I adore that. I adore my wife and family so no matter how much I feel like I need to brood, I’d rather be with them whenever our short time allows it.”

Dante Knight

Natasha leaned back slightly as Dante was talking and looked Colter in the eye. I pray for him to get called to the bridge, she mouthed and winked. It was a purely playful gesture. The public relationship side of Natasha and Dante was a double sided coin. At times they had received more demerits than Kelly and Ric for PDA’s. The other side was the couple was a relaxed companionship that only years provided of being together. Jokes about the crazy kossak and captain wonderful were common between them and only displayed the years they had been together. Such as in this moment when Dante’s Tasia-sense started to tingle.

Half way to taking another drink Dante paused and narrowed his eyes, then turned his head quickly to look at Natasha. “You have something to say baby?” Dante asked her with a mock serious stare. “I’m pretty sure you were trying to say ‘I pray for him to get home from the Bridge, I adore him so much‘ right Tesoro mio.” He spoke the phrase in fluent Italian.

“That’s me. Your little Italian treasure,” she let out a chuckle.

As she watched her husband spin around, she dropped her teasing expression and smiled sweetly. “I know baby. I adore every…single second with you…and those minatures.” Taking a sip of her vodka, did not stop the smirk and chuckle Natasha wore looking at Dante.

“You know I love you,” Dante leaned towards her and kissed the side of her cheek gently. “Il tuo sorriso è il sole della mia vita.”

“E il fuoco nelle tue notti,” she shot back with a wink.

“Well, Skipper, from everything I understand about your tumultuous history together, you deserve all the time together you can get.”

DaVinci looked in Hannah’s direction and smiled. “Believe me, I lost 5 years with the one I love. I’m grateful that we were able to find each other again and all those old feelings were still there, but I still regret that lost time. Who knows, I could’ve been a father by now, too.”

Colter (XO/CIO)

Hannah happened to look up and over at Daniel at the same time. She grinned, eyes dancing, as if she some how knew what he was saying. Considering she could lip read, she just might have. Then she turned back to Claire as the nurse started talking again.

“Well get to work on that,” Natasha said encouragingly. “Dante…give the guy some shore leave.”

Natasha Knight CMO

“I don’t know, I think I’m going back to my quarters,” Claire was saying. Hannah patted her hand, “Don’t you dare. You would really disappoint Himma.” Claire looked confused. “Oh come on Claire. Himma’s great and would help anyone, but he doesn’t go and hang out in the lounge with just anyone. And he’s not here for me.” About that time the engineer returned, with two drinks, not three and Hannah just winked knowingly at Claire. “I’m going to go get a drink. Have fun,” and she left a flustered Claire with Himma who looked like it was suddenly Christmas.

Hannah made her way up to the bar, leaning forearms on the edge, tapping her foot gently to the bass rhythm of whatever music was playing. When the bartender got to her she gave her order, “Ennan VI ale.” She waited until the frosted glass was put in front of her and then she turned, leaned back against the counter and took a long pull off of the glass.

Asimina

Looking from Asimina back to Colter, then glancing at Natasha, Dante shrugged one shoulder. “You heard the boss,” he said to him. “Where will it be? Risa with warm sand and swimsuits? The moons of Andoria where you’re stuck inside an igloo and have to keep warm? That one was one of Natasha’s favourites,” Dante grinned now and glanced at Natasha conspiratorially. “Five years means you have some catching up to do. Be nice to do that without having to wake up and take over a Bridge shift by 8am. You wanna get her in here to decide or surprise her later? Doctors orders.”

Dante Knight

“I say we put it to a group vote,” Natasha leaned back feeling herself starting to get drunk. “If the XO is getting shore leave I say we let Kalani start hacking apart the ship so we have to dry dock and we all get to have some fun. Leave the ship to the unnamed crewmen.

“No,” Dante’s reply was short and simple. “Lets not let her do that.”

” Trust me they love it when there are no officer’s around.” Pulling out her personal comm, Natasha activated Bang and began a search of destinations. “If we left it up to him, Dante would want to sit and relax all day poolside with a drink. What fun is that?”

“It’s a lot of fun,” he added. “Relaxing too.”

“Let’s just turn this ship around and point it to someplace and say Engage.” The last word was a feeble attempt to imitate Dante making him sound like a cross between Darnold Boartzenegger and some stuff British guy.

“That is so not how I sound. You don’t even make an appearance on the Bridge unless we have an emergency. I say ‘Tap it,’ it’s far more adventurous.” He took another mouthful of his drink, quite confident in the knowledge that by now he doubted she was even listening to him.

“Tap it,” Natasha let out a laugh. “Who says tap it? You had better be talking about your arm rest.”

“Anyway back to our planing,” she looked back at her comm device.

“And go to the Forest of Knives on Madicarnal V. You can’t go wrong with a planet that literally has the word carnal in it,” she mused as she read off the description. “It is called that because they have these razor-sharp vertical limestone rocks so one can only pass between areas on rope bridges. It is called locally “the place ones do not take a stroll” which means we can stay in tents like all day.”

“You would never be able to stay in a tent, even on a planet with the world carnal in it,” Dante smirked. “You are specifically programmed to avoid tents, and in a place where you can’t take a walk cause the forest is literally knives, bad juju honey.”

“Or there is the tropical moon Titiancana III where you can bask in tropical sunshine all day and sleep under the glow of phosphorescent flowers all night.” Natasha let out a lip trill and waved her hand. “Like any of us are gonna sleep on a shore leave.”

“Do they have a pool?” Dante asked, suddenly trying to take a look at whatever was on her screen.

Glancing up from her phone she looked at Dante and Colter. “Any of these takers? I got twelve more places in the list of fourteen most exotic places to vacation according to Conde Nest?”

Natasha Knight

“Y’know,” DaVinci began, “my parents ranch is still in my name in Wyoming. It’s being taken care by people I hired once it was confirmed to still be in my name. I never had a chance to take Hannah there before. We could go horseback riding, camp out in the hills. . . or just stay at the ranch and cook y’all a big ‘ole western breakfast every morning. White water rafting could get thrown into the mix, too–on a real river with real rapids and rafts. Not this silly holodeck stuff. . . .”

Colter (XO/CIO)

“A ranch?” Dante suddenly forgot the tropical moon. “On Earth? That, my friend, is a winner. My Uncle raised horses in Italy when I was young, Natasha hails from a long line of Cossacks.” Putting down his drink, he tapped his hands rapidly on the counter in agreement with the plan.

Natasha choked on her drink and blinked slightly. “You…you mean like be a cowboy?” Natasha had seen enough holovids of men in plaid riding various things and sleeping in sleeping bags under the stars. In these movies, they also showed there was one less cowboy in the morning due to wolves, scorpions, and other manner of things that went bump in the night.

“Just like a cowboy, baby,” Dante grinned.

“Are there tents involved in this outdoor excursion? I mean I…I think it would be fun,” her tone showed Natasha might not be one hundred percent ready to pack her bags, “but I really don’t want to wake everyone up screaming ‘there’s a snake in my bag’ like Oscar’s little action figure thing.” In the sleep-deprived state that at times came with motherhood, she had often wondered why the little cowboy toy screamed out ‘there’s a snake in my boot’ and how the snake got there. Internally, she knew Dante was already mentally packing their bags. Men and westerns, westerns and men: the two went hand in hand and Natasha had a sneaking suspicion she was about to get first hand knowledge on why.

Natasha Knight

“Oh, c’mon on now doctor. You’ll sleep with a big ole’ lizard in your bed, but worried about a teeny little rattlesnake getting inside your sleeping bag? I promise the tent will be sealed so no critters get in to bother you, but there’s nothing like sleeping right under the stars in big sky country.”

“Good to know but Dante doesn’t tend to bite,” she polished off her drink knowing there would be no reeling her husband back from this trip. It was not that she was opposed to the trip but something told her Dante was going to be like a kid at Christmas.

=/\= Bridge, this is the Captain, set course for Earth, Maximum cruising warp, and tap it. =/\= the sound of the comm cut out as Dante turned back around to the pair and picked up his drink again. “Huh? Oh! Well there might be some tents sure honey, but it’s a Ranch, you know, Little House on the Prairie kinda thing right? Horses, saddles, baked beans and fire pits.” He looked at Colter for confirmation. “We can spend some time there and maybe after, visit home and take Oscar to visit the grandparents.

The vibration under Hannah’s feet changed, slowed and shuddered, her eyes moved to the nearest window and watched as the streaks of stars warped and returned to normal. Lifting her glass she watched as the view rotated and the engines powering up vibrated and thrummed through the ship and then the slight rocking as the ship accelerated again and the stars worked and streaked again. They had changed direction. A glance at Daniel and Cpt Knight told her there was no urgency or concern.

“Oh for the love of God do not tell our families were are on Earth and vacationing without them. The plan is ranch and then our families,” she looked at her husband.

“No families, noted,” Dante nodded.

Dante Knight

“Colter,” she looked at him with a half concerned, half serious expression, “you are not like one of those experience the past things where we are stuck with something call Wifi and electricity that goes out every time there is a strong wind…right?”

Natasha Knight CMO

“Well, when I lived there, yeah, we had to worry about losing electricity during big snowstorms. But wifi? That was even a thing yet. Don’t worry, they’ve been updated nicely during the last 400 years.”

Dr. Knight had out her personal com, which, at least in sickbay, meant work was over. Hannah grabbed her glass and slipped up next to Daniel, one arm slipping around his waist, unaware of the conversation. “Did I miss Brad Delp and Boston?”

Asimina, med

In return, DaVinci put his arm around Hannah’s shoulders and grinned at her. “No fear, luv. I’ve got all their music on file. I was even able to track down their releases from after I left Earth. They still have the Tom Sholtz-Boston sound but without Delps vocals.”

Colter (XO/CIO)

Knowing the Captain had already stopped the ship and was turning it around, Natasha brought up a new Bang search on her personal communicator. “Cody, Jackson, Cheyenne, or Laramie,” she asked Colter. Depending on where would help her plan some activities.

Natasha Knight CMO

Hannah looked from Dr Knight to Daniel, her hands moving in silent question to Daniel, Wyoming? “You looking at holodeck programs, Dr? If you want something structured try the program on Yellowstone National Park, but if you want to see something lest touristy and more stunning try Fremont Lake. As far as the holodeck programs go, anyway.”

Asimina, med

“Nope,” she shook her head. “Seems D and D here,” she pointed at Davinci and Dante, “want us to have the cowboy experieeeeeeeeence,” Natasha drew out her last word into almost a squeal as she jumped up from her seat like a snake actually bit her. Narrowing her eyes she looked at Dante.

In reply, Dante gave Natasha a wide and direct smirk along with a waggle of both of his eyebrows. “You know you want to go, open skies, fresh air. You’ll love it, trust me.”

“Don’t make me do a hand check. I said I would go. Don’t start tickling my side just to make me stop talking,” she let out a laugh. It was the rare moments like this she missed the most. She and Dante just being a crew and goofing off. As Captain he didn’t get a lot of time to just be silly and find that ticklish spot between her two ribs. When they did, even though she complained, it made her love him even more.

“As I was saying,” she moved slightly farther away from Dante with a smirk, Colter wants us all to come visit his ranch in Wyoming.” Snapping her fingers, she motioned the bartender over. “Roundah sasperialls fer my friends here,” she spoke with a twang. “If we are going to do this we should start it right.”

Natasha Knight.

Hannah turned to look at Daniel. “Your ranch?” It was a place he talked about a lot. Her excitement over getting to visit it was clear. Open sky, wilderness, low tech or little tech anyway, and to get to see where Daniel grew up, was a vacation they had always talked about.

Harrrison took one of the offered Sasperialls as the tray went past. He tipped an imaginary cowboy hat to Natasha.

“Why thank you lil lady, right generous of ya.” He intoned, in a deep faux western accent that could have come directly from the Duke himself.

LtJG Harrison Rutger - Chief Operations Officer and totally here this whole time.....

Natasha eyed Rutger with deep contemplation as he took the drink. Those that didn’t know her might read her expression as curious or confused. Those that did know her knew exactly what she was thinking. Rutger was the Operations officers. Rutgers had tents and could requisition much needed things for glamping. There would be no camping. Only glamping. “So tell me Rutger, how long does it take you to procure things from the quartermaster…say a climate-controlled and hermetically sealed yurt.” Flipping the personal comm around she showed him the image.

Natasha Knight CMO

Dr Knight couldn’t be serious, could she? Oh no…was she one of those ‘city girls’? Hannah didn’t really know the woman despite working with her. Maybe camping wasn’t her thing, but then why go to Wyoming? The question was out before she could stop herself. “Glamping? Seriously? You’re going to big sky country, where you can actually still see the stars from the ground? You don’t need to requisition a portable house, Dr. There is a full size house on the ranch.” Hannah couldn’t imagine that Daniel had the house torn down or didn’t have it rebuilt. Hannah shook her head and looked at Daniel again, “We’re still camping out sans tent and no tech, right?”

Asimina, med

Taking one of the drinks that Nat ordered, Dante sniffed it suspiciously. “Okay, first, we’re taking whiskey. Second, camping and Natasha go together like throwing a cat into a bath of water. You just don’t do it unless you have a plan. See where Nat comes from there’s plenty of open sky and stars but, if you camp out in tents in Siberia where her family lives, your dead before dawn and they have to defrost your body before adding it to the funeral pyre.”

“I mean really, when I visited her family when we met in the Academy I thought Nat had suddenly gained 300 pounds overnight, there was that many cold weather clothes. I even started cuddling Babushka before I realized that it wasn’t Nat. That didn’t go down very well, Babushka hasn’t trusted me since.”

“Don’t worry baby,” Dante looked at Natasha and put his arm around her, pulling her back close to him after she had scooted back from his tickling jab earlier, “you got me, and I’m gonna cook you beans on the trail, catch fish and treat you like my little Cossack queen.”

Leaning towards Rutger, Dante hid his mouth behind his hand. “No Yurts, I brought you into this Senior Staff position, and I can take you out.” He gave a good natured version of the time honored parents threat.
