SNIP“Before you begin,” Dante said to Sheleah, holding up a hand for Natasha to wait a moment before using the hypo, “Lets be clear that at this point I would prefer you simply make sure this Laju is in a safe enough mindset not to hurt herself or anyone else, and capable of talking coherently. Once we find out what is going on and if you find her capable of talking to others, I intend to take her to the Chief of Security to resolve the remaining issues. I don’t believe this is the time for a full fledged session, I think that would be better served in your office once she can compose herself a little more as you say, yes? That being said, we can put up the privacy shield now so that we can see in but she cannot see us when she wakes. We still need to be sure that you will be safe should anything unexpected happen.”

Sheleah nodded and wondered if this was the time to explain that she was usually armed when outside her own quarters.

“This should counteract the sedative almost immediately. I also put in dose of Sobe up,” Natasha used the slang term for the medicinal drug used to flush a patient’s system of all narcotics, pharmaceuticals, and alcohol. “Her tox screen came back only positive for an anti-depressant so aside from the WTF just happened to me syndrome of knocking someone out, she will be fine. There shouldn’t be any side effects from clearing you body of anti-depressants.” Depressing the hypo into Laju’s neck, a soft hissing sound filled the space as Natasha took a step back and waited like the rest for the woman to come around.
Ally had moved off to the corner to activate the isolation field if the visitor suddenly became aggressive or combative. With Rico, the counselor, the Captain, and the medical staff ready, it would not be another situation like before with unknown variables. Natasha might not be able to hit the broad side of a barn with a phaser but if hypoing someone into unconsciousness was a security maneuver, she would rank as an expert.
