Kyrith had been wanting to check out the 10-Forward bar since he’d come aboard. But this was his first time having the chance to do so. As he walked in, he took in the scene, his antenna briefly making him think there was EM interference in the room before he realized it was just the replicator. He walked over to the bar, taking a seat as centered as he could. “Give me whatever your strongest alcohol is.”“Sorry, Ensign. Only Synthehol onboard Starfleet vessels.” The bartender said, causing Kyrith to roll his eyes.
“Fine. Give me that. Whiskey on the rocks.” A few minutes later the drink was in front of him, and he sipped at it, turning around to survey the room.
Kyrith Th’zylen
Sat at a table behind Kyrith was a pointy eared Andorian, bent over the table, tinkering with a small mechanism the size of a golf ball. He wore the yellow uniform of Engineering. The uniform itself was clean, but a grease smudge had found its way onto his cheek. He seemed oblivious to everything around him, including Kyrith. “Come on, you…” he used an Andorian curse Kyrith might know, “just fit!” then there was a little tink! and another muttered curse from the engineer.

Kyrith’s antenna stood up straight at the Andorian curse. “Now that’s something I haven’t heard in ages.” He smirked slightly. “Did you try flipping it over?”

Siarram grinned and shrugged. He’d learned a great many colourful words in his childhood. “It goes this way. I made these parts myself. I just made this too big… Now I’ve snapped this piece,” he gestured into the small device, “so I’ll have to take it down to engineering and weld it.”
