“Aye Sir.” Brenna locked onto the body floating out there. What a horrible way to die. She keyed up the isolation sequence. =/\=Atoded to Sickbay. Locked onto the isolation pod, energizing now.=/\= Her hand slid over the keys as the body was pulled into the transporter beam and reappeared in sickbay.Atoded, CoS
Sheleah stepped out of the lift and greeted nat with a not quite smile.
“Captain wanted me down here for… Moral support?”

“You are always welcome for that,” Nat smile at Sheleah. “Glad you are here.”
The transport went off without a hitch and the body formed in the pod with the usual energetic shimmer. A moment later the displays lit up. There were no lifesigns for the body. And the readout showed a radiological alert. On closer inspection, it would show that the level of radiation currently coming off the body was relatively low.

Natasha raised the tricorder and began to read off the results as she frowned at the preliminary ones that began to show. “There is some radiation coming off the body but it is relatively low,” she commented to the counselor.

Andriss’s voice came through on the conn, troubled sounding.

We can’t work on more than four without turning us into a morgue.=/\= Looking around the room Natasha let out a deep breath. =/\=Send us five and the other seven to the cargo bay. When we process the first half we can do the next. I will also send down a few nurses to take some samples but the stasis pods should keep them in the same condition they arrived in until we get to them.=/\=

Natasha moved to the first body and ran a tricorder over it taking a preliminary scan of the body.

The body continued to give of flow level radiation, mostly in the form of your run of the mill energetic particles, including a few loose nadions. It appeared to be a male human in his forties, dark skinned, black hair, in reasonable shape, no immediate health concerns. No metabolic or brain activity. Dead.
A closer look showed the jigsaw pattern where blood vessels had erupted through the skin with the exposure to hard vacuum, as well as more of the same inside the lungs. There was evidence of severe burns over the right side of his body and part of his flesh was missing, including his right arm up to the elbow.
Everything was consistent with a ship under fire with crew being blown out into space from battle damage. It was hard to say whether it was the explosion, or the explosive decompression that killed the poor soul.

Natasha tapped her badge as she pulled off the pair of gloves as she threw them into the disposal unit. =/\=Captain, I have done my first preliminary review of the body. It appears to be a human male about 40 years of age. Right now my best guess is that some explosion of some sort killed him and he was then ejected out into space. He had severe burns and lost an arm which would not usually happen unless he was trying to hold onto something and his arm was ripped off as he got sucked into space. He is emitting a low level of radiation which again leads me to think it was some sort of accident on the ship which started it all. I am about to start my next autopsy. I will contact you if I find anything different with the next body. Knight out. =/\=
Laying a sheet over the body, Nat activated an isolation field around the body and moved to the next one hoping for something more than she found out with John Doe one.
