Cori shook her head. “Not in this case, sadly. I have the rest of my stuff though. And though it was all moved around, it was logged each time, but somehow this one crate has just… disappeared.” It was hard to explain to people that anything that went through the computer could in fact go through her too, so she would have known if something like that had occurred. “Besides, anything like that would have had to be logged too. Not that someone couldn’t forget, but it seems odd that they would try to put only one crate in stasis of any kind and not the rest.”

“So can we find your other stuff? Maybe the crate is with it.”

Cori frowned. “I grabbed it all already. My new quarters are stacks of crates I have to figure out what to do with. Half of it I’ll probably just get rid of. I mean, what am I going to do with clothing?” she said with a slight grin and shrug.

Ella listened before finally saying “I dont want to be that person but did you check and double* check I’m forever losing things and it turns out to be where I looked in the first place I just didn’t look good enough. Either that or someone was playing a horrible trick on me.” and to Cori’s question about her clothes. “You could donate them or something?”

A thread of frustration was building and Cori frowned. “I am a part of the system, so I would know if tagged crates were in the system and where they are. We’re galavanting about the ship because they aren’t in the system and presumably still on the ship. Unless someone decided to toss out my stuff, which is not impossible but unlikely.” It would be a pretty careless thing to do and she couldn’t really think of anyone would would be so presumptuous… unless they did it intentionally. But she really didn’t want to go there with her thinking.

Royal thought for a moment and then said “What are they made of?”

Cori tilted her head slightly as she gazed at him in slight confusion. “The crates or the pointe shoes?” She though she already knew where he was going with the question, but she wasn’t sure how easy it would be to differentiate. Neither were special materials.

“The shoes!” Ella said a little too excitedly before composing herself. The idea quickly glowing in her mind, Royal was a smart guy she thought. “They won’t be the same materials as most things, and even if there’s more its better than nothing. Most Pointe shoes are composed of satin, leather and cotton with the pointe block being made up off layers upon layers of densely packed cardboard and fabric which is then hardened by glue! I mean how many things have all those exact properties?” She hoped Corri narrow down their search.
OOC: My Sisters are both ballet dancers… It sucks I know what pointe shoes are made from!

“Exactly. We scan the ship, look for those specific materials. If we find them, great. If we dont, we look where the scans dont pick up anything at all. That way we are eliminating the entire ship, and focus on where they could be.”
