Stepping inside with the Boss, the commander’s legs relieved for that precious pause “S-Safe trip? Ah yes the trip.” Scholz chuckled nervously “Ugh I hate getting shuttle to shuttle for the nearest starbase to get the new assignment, if I really need to be honest, but in the end it was pretty… safe. Next time I would reccomend to dock somewhere Ferengi-free.”
Resuming Mr. Scholz trip, a ferengi like merchant just prior the boarding stole some precious dilithium crystals from a near deposit. For some good 30 minutes the security blocked all flights and transports. If there was something he hated truly, they were the delays.

“May I ask where we are going, Captain?” Yuri felt yet confused about where they were going and anxious to talk with the Captain.

“Of course you can,” Dante answered, but didn’t explain further where they were actually going. The doors opened once more and Dante stepped out, walking down the corridor with the full expectation that Lt Cmdr Scholz would be with him.

that’s… alright? he thought waiting for a reply that would have never come. Still following the CO, Yuri was silent not knowing what to say. He seemed a bit bugged by the Captain’s behavior but as he was embarked only a couple days ago, he could have not known if something bad happened or it was some sort of secret welcome thing… anyway the things were going to be like, Yuri started cold sweating and a thousand questions started flying in his head worried about everything he could think of.

“Do you have an issue with the Ferengi, Mr Scholz?” He asked the man as they walked, Dante’s voice sounding perhaps slightly grumpy or businesslike, perhaps. He didn’t look at the man either, his focus was on where they were going and what they were going to do once they got there.

“The ferengi…” He looked at his PaDD and then at the clock “I had some problems yes. That son of a…” he stopped. He calmed and started once again “I mean, that moron caused troubles on the station prior to my transfer and things were delayed as some dilithium crystal went missing. Nothing to worry about, but the security had to close everything and I hate being late! This is just not the first time I’ve encountered a ferengi that caused some troubles in my way…” he concluded.
He looked again at his PaDD, then the clock and once again to the Captain’s back. He had no rush, to be honest, but the ticking seconds were like hammers in his head, hitting the anvil and making deafening acute sounds. He looked for the crew and asked them without talking do you hear these too? but no reply came back These alleys… If it was the Zeus I would have known where we are heading. Here I am just a lost sheep.

In moments the two of them reached the doors to the Saracen’s Holodeck, Dante not pausing as he walked through the doors as they slid open to greet them. The stark empty grids of the area met them and Dante walked to the centre of the room before stopping and turning back to Yuri. “So things not going according to plan frustrate you, Mr Scholz?”

“Not always but-” what the hell, the holodeck? he thought stepping in “Uh…” The officer smirked confused. Why the heck they were there? Who knew was only the Captain. Yuri wandered through the holodeck, a bit to examine the place, a bit because, as he thought before, he was a lost sheep “So… Warum we are here, Hauptmann?” Asked with some german words scrambled in-between.

=/\= Computer, begin program N3M5 =/\= Dante said into the air and began to unbutton his tunic. Around them, the room changed into what looked to be a European style garden outside of a Villa, overlooking a lake at the foot of a mountain range. The sun was shining and no clouds hung in the sky and to the side away from the villa, lines of olive trees grew. The scene appeared to be sometime around 1600 to 1700 BC however, judging by the attire the ‘people’ working around the area had on.

Yuri was astonished as the scenario unfolded. He thought he already saw the place but something was odd, something was not… German indeed, nor russian. It seemed more an italian landscape but he could not really tell. I mean it has the typische italiener beauty..
Then as he moved through the leveled ground he stopped and watched the Captain’s next move, unaware of whatever they would have been doing in the next 10/15 minutes.

Dante removed his tunic and dropped it over a chair set up beside a small table, on which wine and fruits were arrayed, a second chair sat on the opposite side of the table. Picking up two old style coats he passed one to Yuri, then slid the other around his shoulders and tied the wooden pegs at the front to secure it.

Once that was complete, Dante walked around behind the chair his tunic was resting on and picked up two long objects. Returning to the front of the table he tossed one to Yuri, it was a Rapier in a sheath. “Your file says you have an interest in swords, Commander. Can you use one as well?” Stepping back, he drew his Rapier with a hiss of metal and raised it to inspect the guard.

Captain Knight, CO

“So this was your plan…” he snorted with Joy “alright. I accept this duel. But I warn you, I haven’t used a rapier like this since my last assignment, this means 5 months ago, more or less.” Indeed he said the truth. But what the Captain did not knew was that the Rapier was the first sword art that Yuri learned and actually his favorite among the others, followed by the mastery of the one and a half-handed swords.

As he took the coat and put it on his chest, Yuri felt the material a bit sluggish and rough Seems the ones that my father gifted me. he smiled while the memories surfaced his brain depths. Then he carefully took the rapier, unsheathed the blade from the black leather sheath and analyzed its components from the pommel to the tip “Seems a french one. Delicate, beautiful but at the same time functional and light. You gave me a fancy sword, Captain. And it seems also a bit old, but it will do.”
It was time to try the sword. But not before it was given a name: Hannah.

He first swung the sword with a smooth move to the right, then to the left. He tried then the Alfieri guard followed by a normal thrust, then a parry stance and again a second and a third guard stances, thrusting each time to exercise the movements. He was a bit rusty but it was evident that his skills were not dormant at all. With a slight warm-up, Yuri was able to duel.
“Ah-Ah! I forgot how it felt. Next time, I would propose some HEMA, Captain.” He nodded to the man on the other side.
