The herd obviously having a good size amount who had the parasite among them seemed to recognize the phaser for what it was. Or least that it was a ‘danger’. As a result of the 40 odd cows/bulls present 32 mooed loudly in protest then shuffled off away to other distant pastures. The remainder just passively munched grass and such.

The Vulcan maintained her stance until the last child had disappeared in the shimmer of a transport beam and then, satisfied that the cows had no further interest in their group, she gathered the remaining officers to her; Cerny, Hudson and Lucky and tapped at her commbadge. =^=Sentinel, this is Lt T’Pria. With the children transported out, Cerny, T’Pria and the rest of the security NEs beamed out back to the Sentinel. Their first stop was the transporter room, but then were relayed to the shuttlebay with the children as ordered by the Captain to be ran through some decontamination scans.
