Rauður arrived on the sentinel, the feeling and scent of Helga lingered about the Icelandic man as he appeared on the transporter padd of the ship. His brown, shoulder length hair was tied back and his beard was thick and lucious. He was in shape and the uniform was form fitting and showed the muscles that covered his torso.
He was softly spoken, despite his great height and build and thanked the transporter officer in the soft voice with which he had been blessed.
He left the transporter room and walked through the ship until he found his quarters. With nothing better to do in the lead up to meeting the Security Chief and having his boarding physical, Rauður lay back in his bed and listened to the musical stylings of Icelandic band “Of Monsters and Men, his favourite band from Iceland from 21st Century Earth. The music calmed his excitement at the news he had received from his future wife, Helga Blárdottir - they were going to be parents, and the doctors back on Earth expected them to be triplets. He could hardly wait until he saw her again post mission …
