When the Captain would finally deem to slap the annoying comm console button the night shift NE Roberts at comms came onto the screen looking nervous and sheepish. =/\= Sorry to wake you up Captain. But there is a comm call coming in for you from a… =/\= The NE looked at a report. =/\= Commodore Zwicky? Says he has our next mission ready for you. =/\= Commodore Zwicky as the Captain might know depending how into Fleet gossip they were, was a mid 40s man of a large stocky muscular nature. Nicknamed the Zwicky Tank for better or worse he was ahead of Starfleet’s Exploration Division in this sector of space.

Shirley stretched out her arms and legs that lied comfortably beneath the covers in reaction to her communicator chirping disturbing her sleep cycle. Her new bed was quite comfortable and she just wanted to snuggle under the covers for a few more hours before she had to wake up at 06:00 for the alpha shift. However, she did sign up for this kind of nuisance upon her promotion to Captain. She reluctantly rolled over on her side as her emerald eyes glanced at the clock on her nightstand, “03:30 in the morning and he calls me about a mission, typical Zwicky.” she sighed. There was definitely no rest for the weary Captain. She extended her left arm, reached for, and picked up her communicator off the nightstand. She set it close to her lips as she pressed down on the side button.

=/\= I got your first mission in order, and I need the Sentinel up and running by 0500 for departure. Its a bit of an exploration and survey mission into a distant region of this sector called The Abyss. A massive stellar nebula spanning tens of several light years! Got back some survey probes and the readings are just chaotic and vast Exploration Command wants a ship on station to look for any intelligent life too or systems with resources. I am sending information packets now, brief your crew and get them to go over what little we know and be ready to depart by 0500. Questions? =/\= he asked.
