Last stop. Soon Kovan could retreat to the quiet and isolated serenity of his room. All he had to do was make his final check-in with the medical staff in sick-bay and he could finish unpacking. Not that there was much. One box that was mostly casual clothes and a few personal PaDDs. The only thing he owned that was truely valuable was his sketch book of real paper from the trees of Kalos II. Not that it was the last paper from Kalos II. Hardly. Paper at all seemed to be a valuable and rare commodity among space fairing races. So Kovan kept his one book of paper close and hidden.But that was for later. Now he must sit still and let a doctor fuss over him. Kovan didn’t see the point in it. He was perfectly healthy. He took all his vaccines and boosters at the Academy. Sat with their doctors while they recorded what little of his medical history that he could remember. Pointless. But he’ll suffer through it, if only so he can mark it off and get on with performing his duty. Kovan entered sick bay, ready to get this over with.
Ensign ch’Sirhc (COMMO, ENGR)
Looking at his PaDD, Alwyn raised his head to see the new incomer, which was an Andorian. Quickly tapping on his PaDD, he open the Sickbay’s schedule and saw a medical check-in programmed for an Andorian’s engineer. That might be him, he thought. Let’s greet him
While he approached, Alwyn noticed the engineer was taller than him, which was a bit intimidating at first. But it didn’t stop the doctor to meet him : “Hi, you must be… Ensign ch’Sirhc ?”

“Correct,” Kovan said, unwilling to say more than what was necessary at this point. “Where should I sit?”
Ensign ch’Sirhc (COMMO, ENGR)
Straight to the point, uh ?, Alwyn thought with a little smile. He nodded and said: “Nice to meet you ! I’m Doctor Alwyn Yarwood, Enseign.” He then pointed to one of the biobeds: “Just go sit on this bed, I’ll be there in a moment.”
