His pronunciation was fine, it was his English accent messing it up. She knew back home comments and grumbling would be made about the ‘English’ man butchering their beautiful language. But there would also be respect for his attempt and effort to learn. Rand tipped her head back to look up at him. A soft thump was heard as she dropped the pencil and it fell on the bed behind him. “Write it down? How would I do that? I have nothing to write with.”

Rand

The pad of paper had also made its way to the floor during the course of their hug. Roman gave a little shrug. “It’ll have to wait a little longer, then.” It didn’t sound like he cared much just then. He was looking down at her, meeting her eyes with his. His look was one of adoration, and well, like he wanted to kiss her again.

He shrugged and with the way she was leaned against him it made her grip his shoulders. Though with his arms around her she wasn’t moving. Rand could think of another word to teach him, but she couldn’t quite bring herself to say it. Not with him looking at her like that, like he was going to kiss her. She blushed just a little bit more, like she knew what he was thinking.

Rand

Her face turned a bit deeper of a shade of pink and Roman knew she knew what he was thinking. Rand always seemed to turn that colour when the idea of kissing came up, and he liked it that way. His arms still tightly around her, he leaned in for the kiss, lowering his head to her.

Rand stretched up just a bit as Roman leaned in, her stomach felt like she had a swarm of butterflies had just hatched. Then he kissed her, ad the butterflies disappeared, replaced by warmth, and she kind of forgot where she was. She liked how he hugged her tighter when he kissed her. She kind of forgot how time worked too.

Roman kissed her as she stretched up to meet him, a similar feeling of warmth spreading through him. The way he hugged her when he kissed her was like a reflex for him, something he didn’t realize he did but it always happened. Then the kiss ended, and he lifted his head slightly but he was still looking at her that way.

But then when he stopped kissing her she felt breathless and she had to think to try and remember what they were talking about. And that left a slightly bemused grin on her face.

Rand

Rand’s grin made Roman smile, too. “Were we doing something?” He asked, his smile turning into one of his goofy grins. He wanted to learn the language, it was important to her. And it might help Randy’s opinion of him. But right now, their studies seemed distant.

Rand blinked and just quietly nodded her head. They had been doing something, and she really wanted to do it again. She hesitated just a moment before she kissed him again. She could figure out what they were doing in a minute.

Roman was just a little surprised when she kissed him again, but it made him happy and he kept her in the tight hug as they kissed.

When she stopped kissing him, she still had the look on her face and then with a small sigh, “pòg....kiss.” It wasn’t possible for her to blush more, was it? It was but she didn’t because she was comfortable and relaxed with him. “Umm…I think you said something about a movie.”

Rand

Roman looked just a tiny bit disappointed when she stopped, though he was still looking at her the same way. And then he smiled. “Pòg. I won’t forget that one either.” He thought for a moment, his arms loosening around her. He had said that, back in the lounge, that’s right. “Any favourites you want to watch?” He asked, his voice still soft and quiet.

~ Roman

Rand smiled up at him, she certainly hoped he wouldn’t forget it. She shrugged gently, “Not really. We can watch, anything.” Her voice was quiet and a little breathless, and she honestly couldn’t have picked a favorite movie right at that moment. She would rather just keep hugging him. They couldn’t do that all day though…the idea made her smile just a bit more. Then she sat up pulling back just a bit with a grin. “I know. I’ll be right back.” After a moment she finally pulled away and left the room.

She returned a couple minutes later, and with a grin handed him a data disk as she sat back down next to him.
