Turning from the view finder to Cleolet. “..Probe 2 and 3 are picking up what can only be described as the remains of some kind of a Class M atmosphere in a high orbit of the sun! Impossible I know, but there is a slowly fading pattern consistent with Class M worlds. I’m not quite sure what to make of it. There is obviously no planet, moon, asteroid, structure or ship there and the consistency is fading so fast it couldn’t support life as we know it either and its so thin as to be effectively useless, not to mention with the intense heat from the sun, and well space and the natural formations of storms and gases in the Abyss around us....well it’s frankly impossible, but three scans confirm its there slowly decaying. Probably will be fully gone in another 2-3 minutes..” he reported.

GM CockRoach

That was a surprise, what could be causing that Cleolet thought as she looked at the data “Could it be the remains of a planet or a ship that some how crashed into the sun?” she asked her Science officer. it was really odd surely of it was such a thing there would be more evidence of that, chunks of planet or wreckage form a ship. Then a thought hit her

“A ship couldn’t be hiding behind the sun could it?” she asked, maybe the reading they picked up was the shipo venting atmosphere to keep hidden or something

Lieut (j.g) Cleolet (CE)

”..There is no signs of any planet or ship that crashed, no..” he replied.

To her second query he paused considering, “..Hmm, I don’t think so! The concentration was just too brief, and no known technology we know of could let a ship shelter within a star that close. We would have to move the ship closer to get more detailed scans to confirm or deny, the probes we sent are just too simplistically equipped..” he replied.

=^=Karl to bridge, I’m gonna go for a walk outside, check to see if something hit us. Can you tell me how bumpy it is out there?=^=

At Karl’s request the science NE turned back to the viewer and ran some more scans, after a moment he turned back to Cleolet, “..Beyond the micro-metriods that had hit us earlier and have now dissipated nothing has hit us that I’m detecting. Local solar weather is a bit turbulent but long as he keeps his mag-boots to the hull he shouldn’t have any issues..” the NE reported.

A few minutes after Karl left the confines of the ship a comm opened with a visual link to his helmet =^=Please tell me you’re seeing this as well.=^=

[O]Karl to Bridge, I don’t know if you saw everything that I saw but there is something majorly weird going on, I think we need to brief the Captain, the away team and whoever doesn’t know, that walking interactive energy lady and the tall creepy man. Something’s either wrong in my head or with this system, not sure which I’d prefer at this point.[O]
