Paul made his way to the security section first before focusing on his cabin to get settled in. He nodded and smiled at the officers as he passed them giving them a polite hello as he closed on the chief of security’s office. As he spoke with the officer doing office duties for the chief as his or her secretary/security officer. “Excuse me sir I am here to report in to the Chief of Security?” Paul said politely to the officer. The officer tapped the button. “A new officer reporting in sir!” the officer said quickly through the mic. As they awaited a response from the speaker. Paul stood there calmly but attentively with a padd in his hand for the head of security.Ensign Paul Knight

As the doors to the Security Chief’s office parted, Ensign Knight saw the grinning, slightly haggered despite his age, face of Lieutenant Marcus Anders, “Ahh,” he began, “The new lad. Please, find yourself a seat and we’ll get started.”

“Yes Sir!” as he moved quickly into the room and took a seat, as he handed the padd to the officer. “I am Ensign Paul Knight your new Junior Security Officer.” Paul said with a small smile as he sat there focused on the officer.

Marcus chuckled, “Easy lad, relax a little,” he gestured to the pot of coffee on his desk, “Help yourself and tell me what lead you to the Sentinel.”

“Thank you, sir! Coffee sounds good but I am a bit too wound for coffee, Sir.” Paul said with a small smile. “My assignment leads me to you, sir!” Paul said with a grin. “Kidding aside. Starfleet sent me to you sir! As for their thoughts and feelings on this, I am not certain.” Paul said kindly to the officer. “But I am here just the same.”
