after dropping off her things at her Quarters Iris Headed to sickbay for her boarding physical excited to be on the Sentinel. Her fiery red locks of her ponytail swinging as she walked .Approaching sick bay doors she paused momentarily taking a few deep breaths before entering, hello she said aloud as she walked inside looking around.Ensign Iris Avarak [Doctor]
Alwyn was packing up some hyposprays when Iris came in. He put the hypos back on the desk before approaching her with a smile. “Why, hello there ! You must be the new Ensign I’ve heard about. Avarak, is that it ?”Lieutenant JG Alwyn Yarwood - CMO
“Yes that is correct” She stated firmly reaching out a hand to she her department head in greeting, wondering what exactly they may have heard. Hopefully it was all good.

Alwyn nodded at her : “Good. Normally, we do the meeting and the medical test one at a time, but I guess we could do both now.” He pointed one of the biobed and said : “Just wait on one of those, I’ll be coming in a moment.”Lieutenant JG Alwyn Yarwood - CMO
“Now is fine yes. ” She said while hopping onto a bio bed. squirming a bit as she settled.

Alwyn quickly took one of the tricorders just in case and a PaDD before approaching the new crew member. He detached a hand scanner from the biobed and started waving it around Iris. “With your permission, of course”, he added to be sure.“permission granted of Corse”

While the Lieutenant scanned her, he asked : “So, in short, is there a particular reason you wanted to be a doctor ?”

“I grew up doctoring all the animals onour farm so, and starleet always seems short on medical personnel so…it just made sense to me.” She said while pushing back a stray fiery lock back ito her hair.
