Barely a second after that the other colony NE was equally vaporized from another green blast from behind the group!
Three more blasts hit the ground around the colony chiefs feet, and Ander’s feet. =/\= Freeze! Any movement and you two are next!=/\= Came a synethic voice above them 20 feet off hunched over by a heavy rock with non-descript particle rifle aimed at them. Glancing about they could also make out five more figures in cover having gotten the drop on them.
Taking this in the security chief frowned, looking angry and a bit annoyed it seems, slowly dropping his laser pistol and slowly raising his hands.

Marcus followed suit and spoke up, aiming to play diplomat, “We don’t want any trouble, we’re just conducting harmless patrols on behalf of the colony, no malicious intent, we swear!”

Turning back with the energy pistol the voice spoke again, =/\= Alright, now that thats over with, move..=/\= He said swaying the pistol to the right to indicate for the chief to head up the hill. The other five around him kept their distance but energy rifles trained on their new prisoner.

Marcus flinched as the energy pistol left the ranger in a pile of smouldering ash next to the Security Chief, “Bloody hell! You didn’t have to kill him! We were surrendering!” Anders made a steady walk up the hill as the people aiming weapons at him fell into step.
