“Enough chatter,” T’Pria chastised the two security officers over her shoulder. Away from the enclosed structure of the ship and to the vast open countryside of this planet, the Vulcan instantly regretted not changing out of the tiny regulation dress and into something more practical. Still, it would be illogical to dwell on the matter when she was powerless to rectify it. Illogical also to fully dismiss the words of NE Frist without at least a cursory examination. Burnt, decayed meat. She wondered suddenly if they would discover humanoid bodies among the burning wreckage around them.

“I suggest that we examine that vehicle,” the engineering chief announced, simultaneously marching a path in its direction and activating her tricorder to search for any localized signs of life. “It might still contain equipment that we could use.”

Scans of local life revealed a few small hidden away animals in the brush and such. There were also at the limits of the scan range what seemed a small herd of cows beginning to move their way though were still out of sight due to the fires and smoke in the farm fields.

“Agreed. Let’s go,” Cerny said, as if T’Pria needed to be told that. Since she was already scanning with the tricorder, he decided to simply look around with his eyes for any form of movement along the horizon. He’d unsling his tricorder if there was something specific to scan for.

Scanning the horizon revealed hills, fires, smoke, and ruined small sheds and buildings, as well as a few piled up hover cars with large imprints in their front dash. Doors hung open as if forcibly opened from the outside. Some of the local interference came from the pile up of cars in their immediate area, likely due to flucuating still half operational power supplies.

He took out his communicator, and flipped it open. =/\= Cerny to Sentinel: Transport complete. Out. =/\= He then promptly closed it, and replaced it on his belt.

Amber responded just before he closed it. =^=Copy, Sir…=^=

Approaching the fire truck they found that beyond the half dinged up front corner it was in decent operational shape. Indeed if they wanted it probably could be driven or its fire suppression system used for putting out larger fires or something if they wanted. The only evidence of foul play was a marked up seat where two paw or hoof like holes were set near a spot of dried supposedly human blood.

GM CockRoach

“What is that?” Ivo asked as he looked upon the seat that had been damaged.

He unslung and opened his tricorder and began scanning to see if he could identify the hoof marks, as well as to see if the spot of blood could be identified or traced.
