SNIP

Kalika arrived just then, her body barely keeping from hitting the door as her hand moved to the pad to open it. “Captain!?” She called to the woman searching the room for a quick assessment of what was going on. She wasn’t armed, something she wished was different. But if there was ‘that’ kind of danger, maybe she could distract whoever it was long enough for the Captain to get free.

Viktoryia had pulled away frome what ever it was. She had crawled over to the other side of her Readyroom trying to escape the deamons of her past. She knew they couldn’t be real but yet it felt as if it was. She pulled her knees into her chest and put her head between her knees and wrapped her arms around her self. She was unaware of anyone else in her ready except the voice of the one not real.

It was in that position that Kalika found the Captain. “CAPTAIN!” She said, running to her side. Seeing her all but shaking, she gently touched the woman’s shoulder, her voice dropping softly to a more calming tone and level. “Victoryia? It’s Kalika… what’s wrong?” She was balanced on the balls of her feet, half crouched, but half ready to leap back if the woman before her lashed out in any way. The last thing she wanted was to hurt her own CO.

The sudden input was enough to bring Viktoryia back to the present. Though the past made a promise. “I shall return.”

“Please don’t” she whispered as she finally looked up at Kalika. All she could do was stare she had know words but after a moment she extended her hands for an hug. She hoped Kali would understand.

The response caught her off-guard till she saw the glazed look in the Captain’s eyes as she stared over Kalika’s shoulder. When the look cleared and arms reached for her, Kalika went to her knees and drew the Captain into a very unprofessional hug. Her voice was low, barely a whisper as she held the woman tight, one hand to the back of her head as if steadying her, despite them kneeling on the floor. “Shhhh… easy, Vik… I’m here. It’s Kalika. What’s going on?” She pulled back enough to look at the woman. “Captain,” she said the title softly, but hoping it was enough to remind Viktoryia who she was and where she was. “Captain… what happened?”

Viktoryia just curled into the woman and stayed silent. She knew what ever was happening wasn’t real and that she was safe but his final words still haunted her.

Kalika held her for a moment more then settled back on her heels and looked at the woman. “Vik… you need to come out of this. You know this ship. It says and does things to rattle you. But it’s not real. We need you. We need our Captain.” The final words spoken with a solidity that almost bordered on a demand.

=^=”Lt. Darz, just checking in, is medical needed?”=^= Lt. Sharvi asked over the ship comm, concerned for the captain.
Lt. Sharvi, CMO

Medical! of course! Kalika chided herself for not thinking of it sooner. =^=Actually, Ta…I mean, Doc, that would be great. Something scared her pretty bad,=^= she kept rubbing the woman’s hands as if trying to warm them and get her to come back to herself. She continued, =^=I think she’s in shock. I can’t get through to her.=^= She had slipped. Calling the Doc by his first name had been a slip she had managed to keep to herself since waking up. She had been dodging the Doc since leaving medical for more than one reason. The biggest one being how close she and Tath had grown in the mirror universe. It was hard to come here and remember that this Sharvi wasn’t her Sharvi. She just hoped she could keep it to herself a while longer. Maybe she would tell him after things settled. But now wasn’t the time.

“It wasn’t the ship” Viktoyia whispered. She pushed her back up against the bulkhead and tried to stand. Her legs were weak and shaking but she managed to stand.

LT. Sharvi grabbed a medical bag and started rushing through the corridors of the ship heading to the ready room. “I hope they are ok.” He said to himself as he was moving.

Michelle reached the outer door of the ready room just as Shari did. She had her phaser in hand, just to be safe, and when she encountered the other man she pointed the phaser at him. “I’m Commander Michelle Allen, just assigned as your new first officer. Are you a member of the crew?”

-Commander Michelle Allen, XO

Kalika was doing her best to try and get the Captain to focus on her. “It’s always the ship, Vic… always.” She tried to get the woman’s attention, using a nickname she hadn’t used in very long time. She hoped the odd calling of her name would bring her back to the present. “Remember my shuttle? I thought I saw him. The ship made him appear a couple more times. You always told me it was the ship. That was all it was this time. I promise. There is no one here, hun.”

She glanced back at the door, unaware the one she wanted was just on the other side of it. “Come on Tath… please. I need you…” she turned back to Vicktoryia and tried to smile once more. “Remember when we thought we saw that holo star in the observation lounge? It was just because you had been dreaming of him.” She laughed though it was still a bit flat. “It’s like that… just an illusion.” She hoped the Doc would get here soon. The Captain needed something to calm her racing heart, and Kalika needed someone familiar to help bolster her. She felt so out of place since returning.

Kristi came around the corner as the XO and the Doc met one another. Frowning slightly, wondering why the Doc was here, she listened a moment then stepped closer to listen.

Kristi
Engineer (ghost)

“Well, Commander Allen, I wish we were meeting under better circumstances, like one of our offices with coffee and targ milk, but yes, I am the Chief Medical Officer, Lt. Sharvi. Inside already with the captain, is our former Chief of Security, Lt. Darz. We both responded to the captain over the comms requesting help, she was closer, and once she assessed the scene, she called for me to check on the Captain.” He said, “So, shall we lower the phaser, and go inside and see what’s happening?” He asked the Commander.
Lt. Sharvi, CMO

((GM… can they see me?))

OOC: I am pretty sure that they cannot see Kristi, so we will just go ahead with that and ignore Sharvi introducing her.

IC:
Michelle gave a curt nod and lowered her phaser. She moved to the door of the ready room, pressing the control panel to open the door. As it swished open she strode inside, looking around the room.

“Captain Ravenfall I am Commander Michelle Allen your new First Officer,” She said aloud. She wondered if it would be as it was on the Bridge when she had beamed in and no one had paid her any attention.

-Commander Michelle Allen, XO

OOC: I removed the introduction.
Rusty

IC:
Lt. Sharvi immediately went to the Captain and Lt. Darz side and pulled out a tricorder to scan the Captain’s vitals. “Do you know what happened, Ka… LT. Darz?” He asked Lt. Darz.
