Matthias headed towards sickbay, this was his least favorite part of Starfleet, getting checked out. He knew as an older member that he had been paid more attention to after strenuous activity and the like during his time at the Academy so he was prepared to have to put up with it again. Then again he hadn’t had any problems so far and he assumed that his records had already arrived on board the Viking.As he approached the entrance to Sickbay he could see other crew members entering and exiting for different reasons, he stood at the doorway and glanced around looking to see if he could see a medical professional of any kind. Spotting someone who looked medical he cleared his throat “Ensign Matthias reporting for medical check in”. For some reason he felt like standing more at attention now than he did at the DH’s office.
“Ahh yes, we’ve been expecting you. I’m Lt. Tath Sharvi, Chief Medical Officer, welcome to the Viking sickbay.” The Klingon doctor, Lt. Sharvi responded. “If you would please sit on the biobed over there, I’ll get with you in a minute, I have your files pulled up here, this should be a quick process for ya.” the Klingon doctor continued.
Lt. Sharvi, CMOMatthias nodded in response and sat on the indicated bed. Looking around he knew he shouldn’t be nervous, he knew that medical procedure on a starship was of the highest quality known.
“Anything you need to know Doc, I should be able to tell you.” He tried to sound calm and confident but to him it sounded like a nervous squeak. Maybe he needed to speak to the counselor about this.
Ensign Matthias, Security
Lt. Sharvi noticed his nervousness as he let the bio bed get his vitals and read the ensign’s initial medical report. “There’s no reason to be nervous, I was security before I became medical. Nothing in here will eat you, except maybe that thing…” he pointed to a container with water and a purple thing in it. “Nah I’m just kidding, that’s just a plant that grows on Qo’noS that I got on the starbase and hasn’t grown yet. But it will produce good enzymes that can be used for healing. But it looks like you are perfectly fit, and there are no issues.” Lt. Sharvi told him.

Matthias nodded in relief, he didn’t think there was anything wrong with him but always good to get a clean bill of health.
“Thanks for that Doctor, always good to get a clean bill of health. I don’t think I’ve heard much about Qo’noS, can you tell me a bit about it if you have time?”
